Time to move on from Sanchez 2.0

Geno hasn't shown anything that makes you think he will ever be anything other than aweful.

Start Simms for the rest of the season, and draft a QB next year.

I agree with the last part : DRAFT A QB NEXT YEAR.

But let me add to that :

KEEP DRAFTING UNTIL THEY FIND A QB WORTH A DAMN!

    I'm sick of this sh*t!!!

Reminds me of Nacho. That's not a good thing.

But if the Jets end up 8-8, what QB will be available to get at the draft?

If you're a fan that has the slightest hope in this guy you're nutz. He looks nothing like an NFL QB. The foundation of the offensive strategy seems to be not letting him hurt the team. In this day and age you can't win with a guy like that. It took me a couple of years to hate Sanchez. This guy it took one preseason game. LOL.

and doing a bad job of it. Smith is horrible. If you want to knock me, try refitting the evidence.

Geno's problem is that he can't get rid of the ball quickly. He needs to learn how to operate a quick, timing-based passing game. 3 step drops and WR screens to counter defenses that bring a lot of pressure.

Geno gets 16 games this year and Idzik will evaluate the situation in the offseason. As of now, it is leaning towards us spending a 1st, 2nd or 3rd rounder on a qb.

We need to evaluate Genos rookie progress at the season......factor in the rookie growing curve, and see how he panned out as a rookie.
Opinions differ, but i would never condemn or praise the body of work from a rookie QB, its not that easy.

If the team nosedives, absolutely a QB should be considered in the offseason.

There is still time, not only in this game but the season. Lets try to be calm and fair.

In all fairness, the Oline has shown poor protection today. Still your points are somewhat valid. Lets see how 2nd half goes.
