Much worse than what happened with the Jets. It affected the play, not just the ref.

Yes, and Tomlin was actually on field. Refs hate the Jets.

Funny because this was far worse than what happened with the Jets... If Rex did this, the difference in reaction would be absolutely comical.

Tomlin knew it too. He had a devilish smile on his face after he got away with that one. Refs just hate the Jets.

Yep, I saw it and Tomlin's offense was actually much more deliberate then anything the Jets did and yet no flag was thrown.

    Imagine that......

The NFL needs to do a much better job of establishing consistency in their officiating crews.

Too many of these officials get away with letting their personal feelings influence the outcome of games and it really tarnishes the integrity of the NFL - in my opinion. Hopefully Roger Goodell is actually paying attention.

The runner would have returned the ball all the way for a TD had it not been for Tomlin.

Good play. Does he get credit for a special teams tackle, too?

Officiating crews need to be subject to penalties and fines for screwing up major calls.

It all goes back to the Jets reputation from the Sal Alosi incident. We are never going to get the benefit of the doubt after that. After this neither will the Steelers.

Selective enforcement. Woody Johnson should b!tch to the league about it.

Yep, I totally agree with that John and I will take it a step further and say start suspending officials/crews who are shown or proved to be blatantly biased in their officiating against or for certain teams.

Let them start suspending officials for blown calls and biased officiating and you will this selective enforcement bullsh_t that has been going on around the league for decades come to a screeching halt.

Does anyone think the Jets would have won the game if that penalty wasn't called? The call we got at the end of the Pats game we won comes to mind. Sounds like whining for the sake of it ...

It's a matter of principle & fair play.

Yeah I definitely see this as Bob Kraft's fault too.

They kind of are. They are graded on each game and only the best (for lack of a better word) crews get to officiate in the post season.
