they could really use a Mike Martz type offensive guru....with Stafford, Megatron, and Bush in that dome they should be the new greatest show on turf

Cowboys are overrated, always have been. And the owner makes things nearly impossible.

He had better talent in Detroit without the nonsense Jerry adds to the mix.

Smith lost his top two WRs (Jones, White), top DL (Biermann), and top LB (Witherspoon). Hard to win with the injury bug biting so hard.

    Short memory?

Mike Smith is 60-36 with four postseason trips in six years. Only one loosing season out of six, and won 13 games twice in that span. He's been one of the NFL's most successful head coaches during his tenure.

Smith has a couple of division titles. But I do think he should be on the hot seat next season.

Even with those injuries the Falcons with Matt Ryan were still fielding better offensive talent than the Jets this year in my opinion.

At QB and TE, yeah. But the rest is debatable. The Falcons' OL was hot garbage this season.

Hot garbage is being kind. Carolina sacked Ryan 9 times yesterday. Running game was anemic all year, too.

Yeah he was such a failure. He got all over harbaugh for no reason. If coach lacked discipline how can the team have it. Lots of players on his team and they flat out suck. especially this year with rogers out 6 games, a weak minnesota team, chicago being average as well. No excuses.

    what a failure.

Great points. The ball was on the tee in the NFC North this year. All Detroit had to do was hit it!

Chicago was average and like GB played with a backup QB for a part of their season. Yet somehow Detroit lost their lead and those 2 played for the division title yesterday

They should all come to this franchise and join the staff. Non winning record and no playoffs for the last 3 years and all is a safe haven.

Schwartz is a lousy head coach but Matthew Stafford is the most overrated player in the NFL. I have actually heard people call this guy a top 6 or 7 QB in the NFL you have to be joking. Stafford is only good out of the shotgun his completion percentage takes a significant dip if he goes under center. Most of his big plays are just chucking up bombs to Megatron in double and triple coverage and he throws a lot of bad picks in the 4th qtr I've seen him do it several times last couple years.

Stafford will get run out of Detroit in a couple years once fans have no one else to blame.
