Popular pick and that would be the #1 seeds from the AFC and NFC respectively.

I think there will be an upset one side of the equation, but not both. I could see Seahawks vs. Pats (my vote) or 49ers vs. Broncos...but I don't see both Home teams losing next weekend.

Seahawks have a great HFA. They will be tough to beat even though I think the 49ers are the better team.

If the Pats beat Denver, they'll win the SB. If Denver wins, they'll lose to Seattle, but will beat SF. Book it.

I'm going with the road teams this week. NE vs SF in the New York SB.

    I agree.
Denver is too soft for either of the NFC teams. Brady and the Patriots are scrappy enough to challenge both of them.

I'm predicting Denver is going to get smashed. Maybe it'll be next week against the Pats, or maybe it'll be in the Superbowl, but Peyton teams are always soft and seem to lack the clutch gene.
Denver won't win the Lombardi and their final game of the season will be a decisive loss, not a nail biter.

I voted Seahawks/Broncos, but I fear the Denver defense is gonna get really stupid next week.

Chris Harris is a huge loss if he is as hurt as everyone is saying. He may be their best defensive player besides Von Miller, who's already out himself. The good news is the Patriots really don't have the receivers to exploit his absence.

Agreed, but the interesting thing to me is that in a game featuring Peyton Manning and Tom Brady I think that whichever team has the better day rushing will win.

SF is the better team today, but SEA home field will take them to the SB. My heart is wishing for a DEN but i agree JS23 post above

Unfortunately I don't think Denver can beat the Patriots. John Fox will not out coach Belicheck. Denver will be in the game but Patriots will capitalize on a couple of Denver mistakes in the 4th qtr. and Pats will win. NFC is a toss up in my opinion but whoever wins the NFC will beat the Pats in the superbowl.

    Denver vs. SF.

Pats have been playing above their heads too long.

At the end of the day, I don't think the Pats can beat Denver in Denver. The low oxygen air will test the Pats defensive depth and they don't have any. Now Donta Hightower is listed as questionable, and another linebacker is on the ropes. The only way I see the Pats winning this game is if they get out to a huge start. Otherwise, the air will get to them in the 4th quarter. And as AFCEastFan said, the Pats do not have the receivers to exploit the Broncos injured secondary

In the NFC, I have to go with Seattle. I think the Niners will play better, but that home crows will carry the Seahawks to the Super Bowl.

Pick 9ers and Pats. Pats will take it all. The Jets need to do something about this. It's way over due.
