    Bowman Injury...

Anyone heard of the extent? ACL, MCL, both? Jesus that was brutal.

I'm no expert but it looked like he tweaked his knee a little.

Oh, and Belichick would list him as Probable for this coming week if he had him.

ACL. That really sucks. He'll miss practice and some of the season. I like Bowman.

Early reports indicate it's a torn ACL. Awful injury for a great player.

He is that good. Lots of the 49ers fans consider him their best player.

Would certainly be a good debate/argument.

If it's just an ACL, he is fortunate. I thought it was a Napoleon Kaufman type broken leg when watching live.

An ACL is certainly not minor, but I was anticipating worse.

Just looking at the play, I'd imagine he tore every ligament in that knee. It's probably going to be a while before he plays another game.

Not to belittle the injury, but it is a good thing its JUST an ACL....that had shades of Joe Theismann written all over it

Not only did this guy get his knee destroyed there was a pile on immediately after in the scrum for the ball. He must have been in agony.

Gruesome. It reminded me of the Theismann injury. Meanwhile, although I wanted Seattle to win, SF got hosed on that play. Clearly Bowman came down with the INT. How that is not a reviewable play has me in disbelief.

Notice how a real football player gets his knee destroyed and hangs on to and keeps possession of the ball as opposed to a pansy Assclown who hurts his foot and throws the ball on the ground for a fumble.

different injuries. While ACL hurts, Holmes injury is compared to feeling like your foot exploded and was run over by a trailer.

If I had to guess I would say it is at least an ACL. Probably more. Anytime you get that kind of bend and twist you are looking at multiple injuries. Hopefully he is able to recover b.c he is a really good player and one of the more likeable guys on the 49ers.

Napolean Kaufman? Never had a devastating leg injury. I think you meant Napoleon mcCallum.http://www.manlyweb.com/sports/injuries/mccallum.htm
