I did as 4 round Jet Mock, and this is who CLEVELAND selected.

4 QB BLAKE BORTLES CENTRAL FLORIDA

26 WR ALLEN ROBINSON PENN STATE

    35 RB KA’DEEM CAREY ARIZONA

71 CB BRADLEY ROBY OHIO STATE

    83 G DAKOTA DOZIER FURMAN

    102 C MARCUS MARTIN USC

123 G CHRIS WATT NOTRE DAME

Wow, they've got a ton of high picks. I guess the program decided the Browns are not re-signing Mack.

Pretty happy with this one... though in retrospect I should have taken either Jimmy Ward or Keith McGill instead of CJ. I already had ASJ and got greedy. Love the value of Grant in the 5th, Davis in the 6th and Neal in the 7th.

Austin Howard Gets a Huge Deal from Someone Else Scenario

    1-18 OT TAYLOR LEWAN MICHIGAN
    2-49 TE AUSTIN SEFERIAN-JENKINS WASHINGTON
    3-69 WR JARVIS LANDRY LSU
    3-80 TE C.J. FIEDOROWICZ IOWA
    4-111 DE JACKSON JEFFCOAT TEXAS
    5-142 WR RYAN GRANT TULANE
6 -179 CB CHRIS DAVIS AUBURN
    7-210 RB RAJION NEAL TENNESSEE

We sign Pitta and two FA WRs Scenario

    18 DE KONY EALY MISSOURI
    49 DE MICHAEL SAM MISSOURI
    69 G CYRIL RICHARDSON BAYLOR
80 TE TROY NIKLAS NOTRE DAME
    111 S CRAIG LOSTON LSU
142 ILB MAX BULLOUGH MICHIGAN STATE
    179 CB CHRIS DAVIS AUBURN
    210 CB AARON COLVIN OKLAHOMA

    - Reunite Sheldon with two of his Missouri Defensive teammates... think about the Defensive front.
    - Guard, TE and S with upside and ability to start
    - Bullough was a team captain on a great defensive squad, heir to Harris?
    - Davis and Colvin as solid CB depth, Colvin as a stash while he recovers from a blown ACL.

You've come up with some good hypothetical drafts, but those first three players would be brutal, even with the UFA signings.

Haha thanks... certainly wouldn't be my preference but the idea of having 3 Missouri Tigers was intriguing.

This is addictive. The more you do it, the more you realize where the value is in the draft. And this draft is really set up to help the Jets. Tons of WRs, 3 excellent TEs, deep at S, and a handful of versatile RB's. I do think it is a little weak at OL, so I would imagine the Jets will pick an OL in round 2 or 3, after years of striking out in the later rounds.

Fans might lose their sh*t, but if a big time Olineman drops to us Idzik might go BPA! Best case scenario is that a very good Olineman & a very good DL drop into the Jets spot & Idziks bat phone rings! Having Miami drafting right after us I can definitely envision a team trying to jump them, (Miami needs trench help & I think its 100% a given thats what they will do in round 1)

So with Evans and Watkins gone, I passed up Lee and Benjamin and went Clinton-Dix first, Mack and Barr were gone as well, and then waited to see what WR would be available in the following rounds. Here is how it unfolded:

    1. Ha'sean Clinton-Dix FS Alabama.

    2. Allen Robinson WR Penn State.

    3. Troy Niklas TE Notre Dame.

    3. Donte Moncrief WR Ole Miss.

    4. Pierre Desir CB Lindenwood.

    5. Devonta Freeman RB FSU.

    6. Ron Powell OLB Florida.

    7. Xavier Grimble TE USC.

Not bad I just don't like the idea of drafting two TEs.

Why not? Plenty have teams use 2 TE-sets, why not us?

My God if the Jets somehow grabbed Mettenberger this would be a great draft. Big drop-back QB's last and he has the tools needed.
