Huge fan of Big Mo! Happy to have him as the cornerstone of our defense! Selfless athletes are hard to come by nowadays so I appreciate the team Spirit Mo...

what an example for the rest of that young (soon to be paid) line...him coming out and taking a stance will be a huge factor in the sustained success of our defense. Now the jets just need to take care of him, so everyone else follows him.

This is awesome to hear, he never seemed like the type of guy to hold out anyways.

I love big Mo and hope he stays a Jet for his whole career. But the new CBA rules make it very onerous for players coming off their rookie deals to hold out. So while I'd like to think he's doing it to be a team player, it's really about the money.

That guy is going to get his pay day either way. Glad he sees things clearly. If he just keeps doing what he's doing his money will come (and probowls and all-pros).

And to think some people were 'concerned' about his chosen religion.

I really wanna see him retire a Jet.

Not surprising, there are a lot of idiots out there. I mean, our fan base booed the Richardson pick last year.

Love the fact he came out right after that "holdout" talk that was fabricated by the media and shut them up completely. This will never come back up as a serious (or semi-serious) discussion again. Thank you, Mo, for helping to keep the Jets media circus folded up.

It's how a player reacts when there is no truth to the rumor at all. Unlike Patrick Peterson who can't give a concrete answer and then pisses off the entire fan base because he won't flat out deny it when first asked.

Mo loves the Jets for drafting him. Loves Rex and his D. Loves his DL mates. Loves football for sure.

Jets will take care of him.

As for me...Mo Mo's please. You can't have enough of 'em on your team.

My only wish is that he called out the media directly and whatever clump of ass hair wrote that initial article.

All about the mo right now, him coming out and stating that was pure class.

They absolutely have to resign this animal. As many have said, he's evolved into a leader by example. He's also (with these developments) showing all the young players that if you do your job well, you WILL be rewarded. With that said, the Jets have somewhere between 30 and 50 million under the cap. If they do not resign him this offseason, he will surely depart for greener pastures.

What a class act! I love it when a player is upfront about what they do and how they do it. I'm sure that Wilk will be taken care of by the Jets, no doubt in my mind.
