And more championships than the entire Boston Red Sox organization since the 1920s or the Mets since their inception.

I think the time where Yankee fans could crack jokes about the Sox and championships have passed. Don't ya think?

Not as good as the Yankees, they have the longest drug suspension to go with their world series records.

Conseco played for the Yankees, too. And that was long after everyone knew he was juicing.

IMHO being anti-steroid and proud of the Torre-era Yankee dynasty is a being hypocritical or blind. Pick a side

The entire of MLB was using steroids. When the Kevin Elster's of the world are hitting 28 HR, no one is clean. No one can point fingers, because every team had players using, and for 10-15 million dollars almost all of us would have to.

It just shows the need for a cheater's wing in the HOF. You can put in Bonds, Arod, Clemens, even Torre and Selig for pretending it didn't happen.

The TRUE Yankee dynasty was 96 to 2001. Pre Clemens, the Yankees were fairly clean.

I Hated the Clemens deal and the AROID deal.

    +1

Mets fans are still butt-hurt about that run of Yankee dominance, which included a spanking of Piazza's roided up self.

The marquee names of that Yankee dynasty, the ones that won those rings - Rivera, Jeter, O'Neill, Williams, Posada, Brosius, Cone, Wells, Key, El Duque, Mendoza, Boggs, etc etc not exactly juicing suspects. Those were balanced teams 1-25, not a lot of hulking power guys (like say Manny and Ortiz). Plenty of reason to be proud of those teams, while still holding disdain for the Clemens and ARoids and rest of the guys around the league.

+1. The beginning of the end was letting Tino go for Giambi. Even though I was just 15, I distinctly remember thinking that this was the end of the magical run for the Yanks.

It's very similar to 2011 when Tanny let Braylon walk and gave Santonio $50mm. I remember how frustrated I was because I felt the same as when Cash let Tino go...the end of a magical run ("magical" for us Jets fans).
