I'd take decker, but not even for half of what he's probably going to get. He's a product of the system he plays in.

Everyone on the Broncos had a horrible game too. Whats your point?

He'll probably thrive going from peyton manning to geno smith. Not to mention becoming the number 1 option and probably always getting safety help being the only decent receiver on the team. The field's a lot more open with thomas and welker out there.

Sure, if you want Decker to come here & prove he won't be better than our rookie WR & Kerley.

He'll be better than Nelson (maybe) & Hill though.

Let's waste nice cap space on him instead of OLINE. Sure.

Had over 600 yards and 8 TD's with Tim Tebow.

    Not a #1, but a very, very good No.2.

We need two WR's. Why not Decker .. if of course the price is right ... which is likely won't be, so the point is moot. Oakland, or someone along those lines, will pay him as a low #1 and will get him.

Agreed. Stephen Hill is not a #2. He's a 4/5 guy you put in to be a decoy on a go route.

This guy is a poor mans Brandon stokely. Not worth what he will want/get.

I'd rather sign Golden Tate. Regardless, the Jets need to draft two or three WRs.

I'm not even sure Stephen Hill is good enough to be anything on any team. If he was an UDFA signing or a 7th round pick, he would have been cut a long time ago.

I am not the guys biggest fan, but that is selling him a bit short. He is a big, tall, physical WR with good athleticism. He is not similar to Stokely at all. If he had Stokely's hands and polish he would be an All Pro.

I agree though, don't want to be the ones that over pay for him.

Just my opinion, I stay away from Decker. He will be looking for the big contract and, imo, he is not worth the money. Not a game changing playmaker and that's what we need.

Those kind of players are drafted, not signed as free agents.

Yeah their game isn't very similar I'll admit that. I just defaulted to a white WR made great by Manning who probably wouldn't do the same under differ t circumstances. I am not a fan though. He has very shaky hands and does seem like a product of a good qb.

They have two receivers named Thomas. That probably helped.

Decker is not a No. 1 WR and neither is anyone else available in FA this offseason.
