    He's a solid player when he's not suspended.....we're gonna need a solid TE to attack them in the middle of the field to go along with our run game

    Just curious. ...This is the same player that was suspended for the upcoming season, and now it was reduced to 4 games, right?

    Looks like it's become an arms race between the Patsies and the Broncos in 2014. Both teams are seemingly handcuffing themselves for the future and are going for it now. While that happens, the Jets will be flying under the radar and quietly improving their team via the draft and sensible FA signings. In Izdik I trust.

    Brady is NOT the player he once was. Their problem is as much offense down the stretch as defense.

    Have to be happy that the Patriots are going for it now, though. You have to stockpile talent around your aging HOF qb for a few more shots. That is until he retires and you guys somehow land the next Andrew Luck in the 6th round and I kill myself.

    An injury to Brady and the house of cards will come tumbling down.

    But not every team is predicted to go to the Super Bowl every year.

    BTW, what is up with Rask's face? Was he born with it? Eeeeek!

    ....and McKnight, Goodson, Burress, and Edwards were altar boys? Every team in the NFL has a few felons (or felons in the making). It is the way of American professional sports.

    Pats and Broncos should go all in on the next couple years. ....hell how many chances do you get to have a QB of their caliber?

    We went all in a few years ago and almost pulled it off with Sanchez as our QB. ...and only had 1 losing season, now the future looks great again.

    NFL = Not For Long

    Take the chance while you can I say and have no regrets going forward.

    Except there's no parallel to Aaron Hernandez. There were signs there that everyone was ignoring, I'm sure because he was a very productive player on Sundays.

    agreed... not arguing that at all. He was a thug before they drafted him and it was recorded fact. my point is only that every roster is filled with a handful of issues.
