Mike Williams traded to the Bills for a 6th

Bills acquired WR Mike Williams from the Buccaneers for a sixth-round draft pick.
Williams' name has been in the news for all the wrong reasons this offseason, and he clearly was on the outs in Tampa. In Buffalo, Williams reunites with Doug Marrone. Marrone coached Williams at Syracuse in 2009 before Williams quit the team that November. Williams also grew up in Buffalo, so it's a homecoming. In 2010, Williams led all rookie receivers in catches, yards, and touchdowns. He's not an explosive athlete by any means but with 25 career touchdowns and a 6-foot-2, 212-pound frame, Williams has been a reliable red-zone option. Williams, Robert Woods, and Stevie Johnson project as Buffalo's top three wideouts, though Johnson has been rumored to be on the way out.

Maybe Stevie JOhnson will be available?

Anyone else think this takes them out of the running for drafting Mike Evans? Just one more step closer to pushing him down to 18

Nah there's no reason for the Bills to part ways with him this year. Either way, he wouldn't be cut and most definitely not traded in the AFC East.

I think that was a good trade for the Bills, even though he might be in some trouble off the field.

And it's safe to say the Bucs are definitely taking a WR with their first pick.

Interesting move given Williams quit on Marrone and the team during Marrone's first year at SU. Low risk in that it's only a 6th rounder.

Where they ever in that running. Buff already has like 4 solid WRs without him. They just drafted Woods and he is the #4 on that team. The one thing have have a lot of is targets.

Wasn't he suspended for an entire season as well?

Bills got some pretty decent weapons on offense now. If EJ develops into something they might end up having a decent year.

It's funny when the only times you are positive is when you are talking about other teams. You sure you are a Jets fan?

Stupid Isdizik! We are sitting on 60 million in cap space, and let another play maker go to another team, in the division no less. With Williams we would have been an instant super bowl favorite. I can't wait until Woody fires that cheap skate and then Rex can lead us to a super bowl when he gets some play makers.

IF they draft a LT and move Cody to RT maybe. Im not sure they are smart enough to realize that thou. Cody is really a G but he would be an upgrade at RT if he can make the transition. He is a pretty bad LT either way. They actually have some talent on OL if they set it up the right way. If not Manuel will just be spending more time getting bandaged this year.

Not really. I could see Tampa going after Mike Williams now, but you never know.

Yes, the year prior for academic reasons (believe it came out he cheated on a test).

They were never in the running for Evans anyways, and no way he'd fall to us before.

Now if Watkins gets picked early, there's no way Evans makes it past the Bucs

Takes Bills out of WR sweepstakes in rd 1.

If only the Raiders would have signed D-Jax.

I think if Sammy Watkins get pass the Raiders & is there for the Bucs, I think the Bucs still pick Mike Evans over Watkins to have more of a twin towers look at WR.

I think we trade up for Watkins if that happens.

You are not the only one who noticed that trend. He pisses on the NYJ at every opportunity. Of his 200 posts/day, 198 are anti Jets.

RAMS arent taking anther WR top ten and turning into the 2000 Lions. It is not a smart move at all taking a WR top ten unless your certain they will be a stud. To take 2 is beyond crazy knowing your not going to resign both back to back in 3 years. Unless your planning on one of those top ten picks to be a bust. This is Shotty here so WRs are also useless in his O. But so are QBs, FBs, and Ts.
