Only the NFL is pompous enough to reveal its preseason schedule separate from its regular season schedule. Hogs get slaughtered.

Do the Jets always play the Giants and Eagles last two games? Seems it has been that way the last few years.

I'm pretty sure the Eagles game is a favor to both teams, consider the proximity of the two teams.

The Jets and Giants have been playing each other the 3rd preseason game forever. My first Jets 'game' in person was the 1985 preseason game between the two. They've also been playing the Eagles every preseason for years, but I think it's only been in the last 10 years or so that it's been the last game - makes perfect sense though - hardly any traveling involved for a game that doesn't mean anything to 99% of the roster.

    Week 4: Jets/Eagles, Pats/Giants

is pretty much set in stone forever because of convenience.

Yup was going to say the same thing. It makes sense for both teams involved, and it's preseason, so who the hell really cares who we play anyways? LOL

Preseason is always the worst time around here with the overreactions

    *we let up a touchdown*

''Our D is gonna f'n suck this year, time to fire Rex''

*X rookie is has a bad play or game*

'X rookie is a bust already, Idzik f'd up the draft''

Wow. Hating on Goodell for the scheduling of a couple of preseason games is like abandoning the Jets because Idzik doesn't spend to the cap this year.

People will get mad at anything.
