So much depends on team needs, system, etc. Idzik clearly is looking to add depth and competition all across the roster. We'll surely see another OL or two taken, too.
Yes this is the time when you take guys that are special in some areas, but lacking in others.
It's stupid to take a guy that is average in all areas.

If he really is up to 175 and can Maintain his speed that pick will be 10x better

My concern as well. Another question is whether or not he can maintain that weight. Is this another Maybin type of guy where he sheds the weight like water once the season rolls around?

He can be a starting NFL WR. The reason he slipped is inconsistency

Wait... I thought I posted a picture of Laverneous Coles... Are you telling me that Oprah was a wide receiver for the Jets or does she just look remarkably similar to Laverneous Coles? What does that say about Chad Pennington? Should we be asking Herm Edwards whether this a result of affirmative action?

Looking ahead, it's time for either some OL beef or an OLB.

Yankey still there. So is Antonio Richardson. Odd they dropped this far unless there are flags we haven't heard about.
Not sure if there are OLB prospects I like, but Yawin Smallwood at ILB might be a nice grab.

Yeah, he needs to work on catching the easy ones, but he sure does know how to get open, and how to fight for contested catches. Also built like a running back

Didn't realize that Jeffcoat was still on the board. Would be a great pick at 137. Some other good options to add OL depth as well.

What I love about taking 2 receivers back to back .. is this will push Hill & Ford to bust their a$$es for a roster spot mainly Hill. If Hill is to take that next step the time is now with no exception cause he no longer has that level of comfort at a position with no depth and knowing a team moved up to get him in rd 2. This team just showed they are not waiting around for Hill or any receiver to get their ish together. My guess ... Nelson & Hill have been put on notice ... one of them is in serious danger of losing their roster spot and will have to compete. My guess is one of the rookies will beat each other out and one of the other guys will do the same. I can't see us going into the season with 6 receivers while having a FB and 3 TE's on the roster. If I had to place a bet .. I'd say Nelson wins out although I think the Jets brass is praying Hill takes a huge leap and doesn't even make it close.

Not going to lie... wish we traded up in Rd 2. With hindsight being 20/20, if we gave up our 3rd and both of these 4's to move up to late in the second and took Allen Robinson... i wouldn't have been mad. Pryor/Amaro/Robinson would've been a perfect haul. I'd rather have the sure thing, speed/fast/productive receiver in Robinson than these unknown projects.

That's a true statement, but you can apply that to the last 40 years.

Sometimes the best trades are the ones you don't make.
