Let them fight it out for the roster spots. Never run a guy like Clyde Gates out there again.

Hoping our depth chart at WR in Game 1 is:

    Decker
    Kerley
    Nelson
    Saunders
    Evans
    Hill/Ford

That would be solid. I guess Ford has a shot over Hill, especially because he is a kick returner.

    LOL. This thread rocks.

We take Saunders and he's too small and won't beat DBs off the line? We take Evans and he's too big and lumbering?

    I think that was a joke...I hope.

From SI.com. Comparison to Golden Tate.

    "WR Shaq Evans, UCLA
While defense defined the Bruins in 2013, the match of quarterback Brent Hundley and receiver Shaquelle Evans was also fairly remarkable at times. He transferred from Notre Dame after the 2009 season, and caught 107 passes for 1,586 yards and 12 touchdowns in his last two seasons for UCLA. Built a bit like a tailback at 6-1 and 203 pounds, Evans reminds me a bit of Golden Tate when he came out of Notre Dame — both as an enticing pure athlete, and as a player who needs some development. He has a good embryonic sense of how to get open, but he’s not a reliable target at all times."

Kind of tangental but all these WRs leads me to believe Goodson will be cut.

Not exactly my friend. We still need a #1 and if one does not emerge this year WR is still a top need next year.

He's over 6'1" without shoes. That's pretty tall.

Let's give up the season because we don't have a true number one!
