I was just about to type his name on my draft/UDFA list. Very happy we took him.

It just shows the strength of this draft that so many of these guys will go UDFA. If I could have only one it would be Crowell.

Some of the names on this list shock me. Will be a feeding frenzy for UDFAs. Would not mind the Uconn kid, Smallwood.

I could have a second draft with some of those guys. Work that phone Idzik and Rex.

If we could come away with Jeff Matthews, Isaiah Crowell, Dion Bailey, Terrence Mitchell, Yawin Smallwood, Morgan Breslin, Gabe Ikard, James Hurst, DeAndre Coleman, AC Leonard, and any of those WRs I'd die of happiness. Obviously we won't get them all, but a few of them would be amazing.

I guess I will have to catch up on UDFAs later. Dinner reservations with the wife at Ruths Chris tonight. Time to start to pay her back after ignoring her for the last three days.

Seeing some of those names is a shocker. Any of those players would be great but I'd settle for Crowell and Hurst, Leonard would also be nice.

    And there goes Dowling.

And the Michael Sam coverage continues. Enough already.....he's a marginal prospect anyway.

And there he goes. He's not going to get any playing time on that Dline. They're stacked.

Michael Sam is a better football player than the Kid the Jets drafted at DE I E whatever the frill his name is. Oh, and the Kid from Nebraska can't catch.

I'm glad he got drafted and it wasn't us. The fit is just not there.

For some odd reason you always gravitate towards players with either drug histories, character concerns, or in Sams case...a polarizing player that doesn't fit our defense at all.

Does anyone have a link to that UDFA tracker update?

Have to love our last pick. He was 4th round talent. Thought with the weak DL field he would have gone much sooner. He is a good fit at OLB. Think we did a great job in this draft. Filled 2 biggest holes in S and TE. Strengthened the depth at ILB, OLB WR and CB all areas that needed it. Boosted the ST good to boot. A few who is that picks but those sometimes pay off. Even anther BU QB which was needed as well to give all these WR someone to work with. LET ROOKIE CAMP BEGIN!

We needed to come away with a better wr prospect than we did. This franchise has undervalued the position for too long. I give us a b-.
