ESPN - Brady no longer top 5

    http://m.espn.go.com/nfl/story?story...r_PFF_TomBrady

Cant read the full article without insider but basically states his accuracy has decreased steadily over the past 5 years under pressure to the point where he was 28th in the league.

I don't think this article is trying to say anything crazy just that stats show he is declining and not the QB he once was. Obviously he is still very good and capable of winning the Superbowl so you pats trolls can calm down.

I just thought it was interesting that's all.

In fairness, he's had very little in the way of weapons - and constant turnover.

Is he under pressure more, or he's doing worse under pressure? There's a difference.

He was never good under pressure.

It appears that the stats indicate that every QB gets worse under pressure but Brady is getting worse and worse every year.

Whether he is under pressure more often or not I'm not sure but I dont believe that plays a re

Brady is top 5 without question. Look at the talent on that Pats team and look at the way they keep winning. He owes a lot to Belichick but he's a great QB.

If you are talking about last season then yes but this article is talking about tbe last 5 years. Brady has had more weapons then most in that time frame

I'm not saying I disagree with you but you should read the article instead of just making a general statement.

Interestingly enough, this stat coincides with his play post ACL tear.

I imagine he hasn't felt quite as secure in the pocket since that happened and that has impacted his comfort level and therefore his accuracy.

It's hard to believe Brady is going into his 15th season this year.. While last season's 25 td's and 11 picks is a bad year for him the loss of Welker,Brandon Lloyd and Danny Woodhead didn't help matters..

It seems he can't throw the deep ball as well anymore, like Peyton. That may be why he hasn't had big name deep threat type WR's anymore.

I think Belichick owes everything to Brady. When you consider Hernadez and Gronkowski's injuries, Brady's patience has to wearing thin with the job BB has done with that teams player personnel moves.

I think their off season moves are way overrated.

There's no question that he was a much better and more successful QB when he knew exactly what the defensive play call was.

    Bless his heart.

Belichick has done a HORRIBLE job at surrounding the guy with good players. He's an all-time legendary QB and it's been wasted for quite a few years now.

That said, he is declining. Only makes sense considering the age.
