I'm not a Jets fan and normally don't get involved in Jets threads, but I can let that statement go.

Johnny FootInMouth is no Joe Namath, and it's an insult to Namath to compare them.

Yes, and we're just talking about his social life. Johnny football party's like a teenager too, then he whines about it...He's no Joe Cool.

At 21 through 23 yrs old, I was in the Red Sea & Persian Gulf serving in Desert Storm.

Not all 21 yr olds take a care-free, party 'til you drop approach to life.
I coached a few boys who became soldiers when they got older. One of those kids wanted to be a soldier even as a child. Let me say the same thing to you that I do to those young men when I see them now, some of whom may have served beside you. Thank you. We the people are truly blessed to have you.

For sure we aren't talking about football, even though he thinks he's Johnny Football.

Yes, Namath didn't have to deal with 24/7 coverage like this kid does now, but he had some style about him.

    Soft hands spoiled brat punk.
Strike up the band. HH and I agree on something. Too bad it took me almost a week to read it.

I'll be rooting against this kid too.

Disagree I think Pettine is overrated. It's clear that Rex was really the guy in charge of the defense meanwhile Pettine was busy betraying him to the press like a little weasel. It's not looking good for the Browns this season they won't have Josh Gordon and they are the worst team in that division. Could be a short tenure for Pettine just like it was for the Penguin.

I would wager that the majority of the people on JI feel differently.

We shouldn't get drawn into another Tebow debate. There's a reason he's out of football.

Tim Tebow is out of football because of the liberal media.

    Manziel & Pettine both.

I think it will be a toss-up between Miami, Cleveland & Buffalo as to which organization will be the biggest fail this season.

My money is on Cleveland, but, I think Miami & Buffalo could be a close 2nd & 3rd.

I think that's completely wrong. The "liberal" media loved him. He was and still is a media darling.

He's out of football because he's a terrible NFL QB.

I doubt the Patriots staff care what the media thinks of Tebow. Tebow wasn't NFL quality qb, and wasn't willing to switch positions. He also wasn't willing to give the CFL a shot. The owners in the NFL know how popular Tebow is, the value of Tebow for jersey sales would outweigh the ridiculous notion that the liberal media care would even care if Tebow is signed or not.

Are we seriously having a Tebow debate? Haha, oh man. It amazes me that people still think the guy is a legitimate NFL starting QB.
