CJ didn't participate in the running drills. Maybe we should have a thread about that too.

You really don't see a difference? Our first round draft pick gets a concussion on the first day of contact and you don't think that's a big deal?

It's in the hit or be hit thread. He had a collision in a ST drill - punt protector

Punt protector does seem to be a dangerous position ... Hope they slide someone less important into the spot in the future

Right. Fluck that! I want to see him going forward...not taking on LB's and chit coming at him full tilt. Fluck!

fwiw, i think it matters, and quite honestly, if it keeps him out more than a few days, he will be behind the learning curve.
Not good for a rookie safety, expected to start, and labeled a crusher from his collegiate days.

Got to look for some more info on the severity.

Ironic that a hard hitter like him supposedly gets a concussion as a punt protector...

No matter how you dice it, it's an incredibly questionable decision by Ryan to have his first-round pick -- and probable starter -- in at punt protector, a largely meaningless role. There are dozens of other guys who could have done it. No idea why he chose Pryor.

If it is a concussion then it is an embarrassment..

We drafted this guy to be the concussioner.

    Not the concussionee...

If he misses more than a couple of days I will be discouraged..

Can't have our concussion maker on the sidelines with a concussion..

Let's hope that's the end of this experiment.

Athletes who suffer concussions almost always say that they're fine when they're not.

Hopefully, this is a case where Pryor really *IS* fine. It would basically hamper his entire career(and maybe shorten it) if he had Concussion issues going forward.

Maybe that's the end of that...Not a bad thing.

I know you were joking mostly, but in all seriousness, Wilson could be a crucial part of the secondary this year. We dont want him back there either.
After the 3 penalty in a row game last season, i really thought Wilson played well. In some sick way, it almost seemed as if he started to up his game when the focus was on Milliner not playing up to par.
Could be completely wrong, but i predict Wilson plays well this season, and sees plenty of action outside of the nickel CB.
