Being a medical perfesional, I'm fairly certain the lower leg isn't supposed to do that.

Sickening to see that happen to somebody. Just hope he didnt do damage to any blood vessels bcz that is already a gruesome injury to a part of the body that doesnt heal all that well. Doubt he ever plays again let alone returns to form.

    Huh?

    He broke his leg.

These things generally take like 3 or 4 months to heal.

That's not simply a break. That's like having your leg torn off and reattached.

No ligament, tendon or muscle damage. He'll be up on his fake leg in no time.

It's a clean break of the tibia with like you said no ligament damage. He will recover it will just take a long time.

    It was a clean break.

His leg will be fine in a few months.

He may not play basketball this season, but his career certainly isn't in jeopardy.

If the Pacers are going to be in the running for the #1 overall pick with Roy Hibbert, George Hill, David West, Evan Turner, Luis Scola, and Rodney Stuckey....then where are the Knicks going with Carmello, JR Smith and...Jose Calderon?

Bird will move guys like west during the season. This is the perfect time to start a rebuild.
