welcome to the chris johnson era tonight it starts

this will be the STEAL of the century
all teams will wonder why they let him slip through their hands

with a healthy knee and catching balls out of the backfield -dude is going to light up the league once again

I loved when the jets got tomlinson and I think this works out even better for the jets

That's the feeling I get too. Teams are gonna feel foolish for not even entertaining an offer.

And thank god he did not go to NE, because that might actually make them a good team.

I'm excited to see him play for 1/2 of the first quarter too. But I'm not expecting much in this preseason game.

Let's just hope the CJ2K era doesn't begin the way the Sanchez era ended.

Not sure this will be an Era with CJ, but he can hopefully have a productive 2 seasons for us. We can look at what LT did in his year 29 season as somewhat of a comparison.

    Rushing: 292 1110 3.8 YPC 11tds
    Receiving: 52 426 8.2 1td

I dont think CJ should get more then 200 rushes on this team. Receiving who knows, but 40+ would be great. Ivory is too strong of a runner and we need all these guys healthy, so I think we should be looking at the numbers of the team not the individual.

I was stunned on Tuesday at Johnson's lack of focus .... I hope it was an an anomaly. I have a feeling it's going to be Ivory, Johnson, Powell ... With Johnson playing slot sometimes.

CJ doesnt strike me as a 110% practice effort guy at all.

He just needs to use his god-given ability to make some plays and open up some space on the field.

I actually don't want to see a lot of him tonight.

Save the bag of tricks for the Gaiduhs and beyond!

He doesn't care about practice, but he will smoke you on Sundays if you get him in space

CJ2K gives the Jets that explosion player out of the backfield. A look teams may not be able to prepare for. He creates match up issues. Go Jets

We'll see, I think we ride the hot hand. Remember the plan was to use LT sparingly, but he started doing well and Rex ran him early and often. He was spend by the end of the season. I really like the idea of CJ for 3/4, and then ivory in for pounding in the 4rth quarter. It should be fun.

Like most times around here, people are getting excited before actual live action. I think we may have a decent season, but he will not be a game changer.

I am worried about a devastating preseason injury, Johnson would be bad.

If it's the fourth quarter in the Snoopy Bowl and it's a tight game, you know CJ2K is getting the call.

Me either I hope he is used sparingly. I want to get him in my auction fantasy league as cheap as possible.

Any of the players could be injured. Maybe the Jets should no show.
