    Breaking News: I'm Not Okay!

First spill on the bike. Feels like broken ribs (X-ray negative) and oodles of road rash. Here's a sampling:

Some table salt generously applied to that wound will clear that right up.

I feel for ya bud - last year I ran into a steel pipe fence - had to ride 15 miles home as there was no one available to pick me up.

They say it is just a matter of when. How is the bike?

Actually, kept any roadrash off my hip and minimal on my shoulder. Guy was pulled over on a road he shouldn't have been (soft shoulder) and I didn't see him in time to check traffic behind me, clipped him and I was airborne.

Got called back to the hospital for more imaging. Turns out there were two rib fractures they missed.

Rib injuries suck, not a lot you can do for them but wait for the ribs to heal.

You don't want to cough, laughter is your enemy, and ywhen you feel a sneeze coming on you will literally cry before the sneeze, all sorts of movement and activity become excruciating. Every day it gets better, then after about two weeks your just tender.

    Good luck friend.
