Anyone else get pounded with snow last night? It was 74 here last week. Now there is 4 inches of snow on the ground covered in 2 inches of ice. This sucks.

Who says Mother Nature does not have a sense of humor? Here in NYC it's nothing but snow, ice & a big pain in the butt! <_<

The highways R littered with the usual urban tumbleweed of SUV's that slid off the black ice and caused accidents doing 90 miles an hour. Other than that it's cold, wet and we may getting another storm tomorrow - go figure.

I live in the NJ snow belt (Northwestern NJ, where Sussex, Morris, and Passaic counties meet), and we only got 1-2 inches, and nothing stuck to the road. We did get the real icy roads, and the school where my wife teaches had a delayed opening. It's funny, the guys JUST finished my "Spring Cleanup" last Friday too!

As a hardy Ithacan, even I gotta say this is the worst winter I've ever lived through. We got our 5 inches yesterday, and a few good stray blizzards last week. It's been one crazy season.

I told my wife I refused to shovel after this storm. My shovel was put away and in the garage it will stay.

my girlfriend and i drove up to philly from our college in VA and she hadnt checked the weather. monday afternoon when we had a grad school interview she walked into the school in a skirt and sandals with an inch of snow on the ground and they questioned her common sense. hopefully that wont keep her out. i need to be back up north so i dont have to drive 4 hours to watch the JETS.
