Me too - it would make picking up Champ a cinch when we go on our revenge pillaging mission to the 'skins in a season or two! :)

i pick baily just because he is the best lb in the draft, he wont be around at 22 and there will be a solid DT at 22.

I agree that the pick here is Bailey. I just hope that idiot Mike MArtz doesn;t snatch him up first at 12.

I also like Bailey but I feel he won't be there so that's why I pick Kevin Williams

I want FOOTBALL players, not TRACK STARS. I'll take Williams. I wouldn't take Boss Bailey with the #22, let alone the #13.

I'll take Williams. I'm more worried about guys (Bailey)who get hyped because it seems that there are no other premier players at their position. I wouldn't mind him at "22", but from everything I've seen he will be gone by then.
As long as Kipers Mock Draft doesn't come true. If I hear the words..."With the 13th pick of the first round, the New York jets select...Wide receiver from University of Florida". The TV will be off before the commish can complete the sentence.

    Bailey over Williams ???

if the JETS take Boss "Double ACL" Bailey at 13 it will be a complete travesty.

I say williams too. He's a better fit for Herm's system, can rotate between DE & DT & he's got less health issues.

I take Williams at 13. There are 3 dominant DT's in the league........Sapp, Simon, Seymour........we are in desperate need for interior strength......exterior speed can be obtained much later in the draft. Bailey is no Derrick Brooks, let's spot trying to make him out to be that way.

Definitly Williams, Great DT's make Great Lb's, not vice versa.

Williams or Sullivan. There will be linebackers to fill holes after June 1, and it is a linebacker-rich draft next year. Yes Bailey is the best this year, so what? If the best QB in the draft was Ryan Leaf, would you pick him on that principle?

my neighbor is a scout for our ny jets and he says BOSS is on there #1 leader board presently...they feel that DT can be addresed at #22 and do not be suprised if Jordan is gone on drfat day ..with abe and chad getting top notch money and martin Mawae and wayne making alot as well it will be damn near impossible to sign Jordan who will get top money somewhere else. He also said that they do not want to trade him at all and they want a solid back up for curtis but jordan wants to be a starter and will not be one with the jets.

altoon...your neighbor is a scout? Man that is the inside track!

I think Bailey has to be the pick at 13. However, at #22...if Troy Palomalu is available...they better take him. The guy is a STUD Safety...ala Ronnie Lott. If you see the fim you will agree. There will be tons of good Dt's in this draft so we can draft them later.

#13 Boss (I think the Rams need a MLB more than an OLB, and go OG at #12)
#22 Sullivan/Williams (Dewayne and Kennedy will go in the top ten, but ONE of the remaining top 5 (J. Sullivan/W. Joseph/ K. Williams) WILL be available at #22.
Round 2 - We trade up with the extra picks we have a grab Troy Palomalu early in the second round
Round 3 - WR Justin Gage

Keep in mind, taking a risk on Boss at #13 works b/c if we feel we won't get one of the top 5 DL at #22 we can trade up a spot or two with the extra picks we have, just like I hope we do for Palomalu.
