I think the jets still have there core of players and with a good draft is superBowl bound.
1)Kevin Williams 6'5 300 DT/DE and stud has some major passrushing and runstopping skills.
1b)E.J. Henderson 6'0 245 and explosive tackler which we need with rare instincts and good coverage skills or trade down and get some more picks and grab another linebacker like Terry Pierce(6-1, 251, 4.77).
2)Chaun Thompson if not at our spot he's worth trading up for.6-1, 240, 4.56 pass ruch specialist with rare speed and athleticism.
3)Walter Young 6'4 ran in the 4.55 thats speed for soembody that size could be a great steal.
With these picks if we get 3 out of 4 it will definitely make-up for our offseason and would takes us to the Super Bowl.
We need to draft defense get younger and quicker to give chad more chances to points on the board
Hey, don't get me wrong, I would love to have EJ, but the question that needs to be answered is he fast enough for our cover 2??
Many people had him rated as a top 15 pick if he declared for the 2002 draft, but he decided to return to Maryland for his senior year. Can cover the back or TE. . Had back surgery to remove bone spurs this off-season, but all indications are that he’ll be fine come the start of the season. Big hitter, but 4.88 speed will hurt his natural ability. Was banged up throughout the 2000 season with a sprained knee and rumors persist that it was concerns about his neck and back that kept Henderson from declaring early for the draft last season. Had surgery on his back this past spring and missed spring practice. All reports have him close to 100% and I expect Henderson to enjoy another fabulous season.
With that said, I like him at #22, not at #13!!
