I'm reading through this website and found some hilarious sports quotes from coaches and players. Anyone have any real stupid ones off the top of their heads? I'll post some of the better ones when I'm done reading them.

I can't even find my favorites but I have been laughing pretty hard for the past 15 minutes reading them. I'll just post the link so you all can see them.

Jim Mora's "Playoffs...You kiddin' me?" interview was pure solid gold. I am not sure if the Tuna himself has ever given a better post game synopsis.

If you are looking for dumbass quotes...look no farther than Shaquille O'Neal designating himself "Aristotle"

Gotta love Mike Tyson's quote after his loss to Lennox Lewis....I think I'll just fade off into Bolivia. Classic.

that to you was the worst sports-related quote ever?

I take back the "legit" NYY fan status I awarded you, Vona...

    you're a total homer.

By the way, that quote was totally funny...and I have tshirt with it written in large red lettering...see you at Jankee Stadium in early July when I will be donning it

lol, i'm a homer because i think that was a stupid quote. i'm sure if you ask Pedro Martinez, he will agree with me that it was a very stupid quote.

    --------
Another retarded quote...Benny Agbayani saying Mets in 5 on the eve of the subway series.

no...both of those are technically "stupid" quotes...

but the worst EVER in the history of ALL sports?

Lucchino's "Evil Empire" quip ranks among the best ever though (no homer here!!!) He did steal it from NY Post's hideous Joel Sherman, who had been calling NYY the "evil empire" since before the 2002 playoffs

If you laughed at how many players think doing a "360 degree turnaround" is something to be proud of, well Darren Woodson said it again today.

Only he claims Parcells has the Boys doing a couple of 360s.

Must be gettin pretty dizzy down there in Big D.

The award for the dumbest sports quote ever definitely goes to the fenway faithful.

Every time they chant "YANKEES SUCK", you wonder if these folks are on a collective LSD trip? :D

I vote for anything Zippy Botoxfan ever said.

That 360 degrees thing has always left me shaking my head, too. Idiots.

Tyson, BTW, is a goldmine for such matter.

Leon Hess' Thanksgiving Day address at practice to the team a few years ago:

"Now lets go out there and not make asses out of ourselves (the upcoming game)"...

or how about the earlier, "Ladies and Gentlemen, Rich K&%^$&#". (I will not say that name)

or when he must have said to somebody, "I have a good idea, lets lease a stadium with our cross town rivals name written in huge letters on it....in New Jersey! The fans will love it".

What an inspiration that well-intentioned old bastard was...

Oh speaking of age, how about the 900 year old man saying, "I just want to be that little boy pushing the cart..". What the? I BET he wished he was a little boy, he probably woke up SURPRISED every day....
