I would say my post was bashing him, while some of my others may have been! after second thought, it is unfair to compare the other years, so lets leave them out. I know hind sight is 20/20, but of the 3 who would you pick - all bias aside?

    1ST TWO YEAR STATS:

    WARRICK 5-TDS 32- GAMES

    BURRESS 6-TDS 28-GAMES

    TAYLOR 6-TDS 26-GAMES

    MORRIS 3-TDS 15 GAMES

    SOWARD 1-TD 13-GAMES

    TERRELL 7-TDS 31-GAMES

    ROBINSON 6-TDS 32 GAMES

    GARDNER 12-TDS 32-GAMES

    MOSS 4-TDS 20-GAMES

    MITCHELL 1-TDS 31-GAMES

    WAYNE 4-TDS 31 GAMES

ONLY TWO ON THAT LIST HAVE PLAYED LESS GAMES THAN SANTANA, YET THE AVG # OF TDS FOR THOSE PLAYERS IS 5 TOUCHDOWNS, HIS STATS ARE AVERAGE IN THE TD CATEGORY WITH ALMOST HALF OF THE # OF GAMES AND LET'S FACE IT, THE 5 GAMES HE IS LISTED AT PLAYING IN 2001 HE WAS WARMING THE BENCH, SO TO LABEL HIM A BUST IS A LITTLE PREMATURE WHEN REALLY COMPARING HIS STATS TO THE OTHER 1ST ROUNDERS

NOT PICKING ON YA RHYANN66, JUST THOUGHT YOU BROUGHT UP AN INTERESTING QUESTION TAHT SHOULD BE LOOKED AT IN MORE DETAIL

As it should be, I also stamped him a bust IF he didn't put up big numbers this year!! I will give him this year, after that no more excuses.

    Good post though!!

    Hey all,

While its certainly fair to expect better production from a rd. 1 WR, its worth noting that the guy is a pro bowl-caliber punt returner who scares a lot of teams. If he makes the pro bowl, it'll be hard to call him a "bust."

only 2 guys have more than 6 tds and they both played in 31 and 32 games each, so compared to Tan's 4 in 20 games he seeems on pace, oh yeah and don't forget the 2 on STs
