    Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the New York Yankees Fan Club. Due to an unprecedented volume of requests, we are currently processing only fan conversion registrations for Boston Red Sox fans.     I hate to break it to you, but this is very old and has been posted already. I got one via email when I first came over here in 95 (I had no idea what it was about then) and it seems to do the rounds at the end of every season.

    Please forward one to BowSox fan immediately. He is presently recovering at his local old age home, in spite of his claim to be 28 years old.
