Bagram GI: Troops Waited While Hillary Chowed Down
U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton forced U.S. troops stationed at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan to wait for their Thanksgiving dinner last Thursday while she and her entourage arrived late, then cut in line and were served first.
A soldier who witnessed the scene tells NewsMax:
"Thanksgiving Dinner started at 3 p.m. that day, so the line was forming around 2:30 p.m. She didn't show up until around 3:30 p.m.
"Once she got there," our source maintains, "Clinton and her entourage bumped everyone in line, forcing them to wait almost an extra hour."
The brass at Bagram apparently had a hard time rounding up New Yorkers who wanted to have dinner with Clinton, D-N.Y. Only six GIs responded to an e-mail sent out last week that stated, "Looking for military members from New York and Rhode Island interested in meeting their Senator/Congressman."
People magazine was on hand to cover the event and wanted to interview the troops for reaction to Clinton's visit.
"But they were getting declined left and right," our source said. "People were actually telling the reporters, 'You don't want to print what I think about her and her visit.'"
After Clinton and her entourage departed, the only topics GIs wanted to talk about were "how great the food was and how fantastic they thought George Bush's visit to Iraq was."
Here's a nice story from yesterday's Daily Freeman, Kingston's hometown newspaper.
Hillary's Special Delivery
By Paul Kirby , Freeman staff 12/02/2003
MOUNT TREMPER - Joseph Tiso was up a little late over the weekend, surfing the Internet for news about Iraq. What popped up was a photograph of his son, U.S. Army Lt. Michael Tiso, 24, getting a bag of Christmas presents from U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y.
The elder Tiso immediately went to his wife, Margaret.
"I had to go wake her up," he said. "It was a shock."
It was about 11:30 p.m. Saturday when Tiso came upon the Associated Press photograph of his son, who has been in Kuwait City since November 2002. Lt. Tiso has served as a communications specialist, setting up Army systems used in America's war on terrorism.
"He was very excited to met her," Joseph Tiso said Monday of his son's meeting with Clinton. "He said she was very nice."
The soldier and the senator met at Camp Wolverine in Kuwait City on Saturday during Clinton's tour of the Middle East, which included a visit to Iraq.
Mrs. Tiso said the family worried about Michael's safety at first, but now is expecting him home for Christmas.
Lt. Tiso is a cousin of Karen Keogh, who works in Clinton's office. The bag Clinton had handed him contained presents for him from his cousin.
A graduate of Onteora High School, Lt. Tiso joined the military about two years ago, his mother said.
"He does not regret being there, but is anxious to come home," said Mrs. Tiso, who added that her son describes his unit as the "AT&T of the Army."
She said her son was told that he would be meeting Clinton before the actual photographs were taken.
"He said he thought he was in trouble with the brass, but they just told him that he would be meeting with Hillary," Mrs. Tiso said.

Hillary to Troops: Support for War Fading
In a demoralizing message to U.S. soldiers serving in Iraq, visiting U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton told them that Americans back home were growing increasingly skeptical of President Bush's decision to send them into battle.
Describing two meetings with GIs over turkey dinners in Baghdad, Clinton, D-N.Y., told reporters later that soldiers wanted to know "how the people at home feel about what we are doing."
Clinton said she told the troops, "Americans are wholeheartedly proud of what you are doing, but there are many questions at home about the [Bush] administration's policies."
She suggested that the U.S. could eventually lose the war in Iraq. "We have to exert all of our efforts militarily, but the outcome is not assured."
Despite her sour pronouncements, the former first lady insisted that the soldiers were just as glad to see her as they were President Bush, whose surprise visit less than 24 hours earlier was greeted with standing ovations.
"It's a positive for the commander in chief to visit troops in the field," Clinton told reporters, adding, "the troops [also] seemed to appreciate seeing myself."
Speaking from a secure location just over the Kuwaiti border, Clinton launched one verbal salvo after another at the White House. She argued that Bush officials had been "obsessed" with getting Saddam Hussein and said the perception blinded them to the difficulties of deposing his regime.
"The Pentagon tried to make do with as few troops as possible, as light a footprint as they could get away with," Clinton said. "Now we're playing catchup. ... Unfortunately, I don't think they fully appreciated the conditions we would encounter."
The top Democrat reprised her charge that the White House is being less than candid when it comes to apprising the American people of the costs of the war.
"The obstacles and problems here are much greater than the administration usually admits to," she said. "Everybody has to be honest."

Having studied the Clintons up-close and personal, I have long since concluded
that their politics are not the ideals of Liberals, nor are they the dreams of the
naive. Instead, they matured from the radical New Left into the hateful
Nothing I have discovered has discouraged me from concluding that Hillary
Clinton and her sometimes brilliant, sometimes useful-dupe husband are less than
dedicated Marxists. Her mentor was Saul D. Alinsky, long-time Communist Party, U.S.A. member,
and author of the Hard-Left’s playbook, “Rules for Radicals – A Pragmatic Primer for Realistic
If you ever read this book, readily available in any book store and most college campus libraries,
you will instantly recognize Bill and Hillary Clinton’s pattern of political conduct. Not only that, but
once you read this book, you can predict every political move Hillary Clinton will ever make.
I’d be surprised to learn that the Republican National Committee does not have this book as required
reading for every staff member. If they don’t, they would be well-advised to order some copies.
Let others hint and imply, I worked in “the nest,” and I know. I was there, met their friends and saw
their backgrounds. I heard them talk and express a visceral hatred toward Ronald Reagan, George
H.W. Bush, and anyone who ever worked for them.
They are hard-hearted, Hard-Left and very hateful people. Which brings me to my point.
I saw what the Clintons did to our White House, to employees who worked there, to the military
officers unlucky enough to serve there – and I was myself subjected to one of the most hateful smear
campaigns ever launched against a Clinton truth-teller. I didn’t hate them then, and I don’t hate
To give in to that emotion would be to admit that I am powerless in the face of their power, which is
not true then, now, or ever.
I never hated them, no matter what they did – anymore than I hated the Mafia crook, the kidnapper
or the drug dealers I put in prison. I never hated these people, because they only represent human
failure, which I do hate. I hate Communism, Socialism and National Socialism (Nazi), because these
ideologies represent the worst character flaws in humans. They feed on human failure.
All these collectivist political movements have the same thing in common. In order for them to get
and keep power, people must fail – or enough of them must fail to be ready to turn their lives over to
people like Hillary on the basis of a lie, on the promise that somehow life will become better.
Except that it never does; it only gets worse. Millions of corpses in thousands of mass graves are
silent testimony to the most deadly time on our planet – the last 100 years – when at least
100,000,000 died at the hands of their own governments, all of them Communist or Socialist.
That’s why I truly hate the sickness called Communism – because it is deadly.
That people can be born and raised in this country and grow up to hate America, hate Christians
because of their beliefs, hate Capitalism because some do better than others – hate President George
Bush because no matter what, he continues to do the right thing and his popularity with the
American people continues to grow – that there are actually those who hate George Bush enough to
fly to Iraq and make a political speech criticizing the Commander-in-Chief on Thanksgiving Day is
I hate the sickness that takes over a woman’s mind, allowing her to snatch every opportunity to
misuse her moment in time, to keep that kind of hate alive.
But I cannot hate the persons of Hillary or Bill Clinton. I feel sorry for them. They have been
especially privileged and lucky, and now they are especially rich, having sold books they did not
write – and I would posit, never could write.
And yet they remain unhappy. They want to tear down this country. They support an ideology that
will eventually destroy Democracy and Capitalism, if not stopped now.
And they will do anything they have to do to get their power back. They will lie, cheat and destroy
others to get what they want. But they are no worse than others I met as an FBI agent. Except, in
every profession but politics, you can be put in prison for lying, fraud, stealing, and trying to falsely
imprison innocents – like Billy Dale, of the White House Travel Office, for example.
But in politics, you can reach high office, and then lie about the Commander-in-Chief during a time
of war, in a foreign land, on Thanksgiving Day. You can bad-mouth President Bush to his own troops
who are there and prepared to die for this country. You can do all that, and more, and not fear any
consequence for your actions.
What Hillary just did is the perfect way to define hate.
Gary Aldrich is president and founder of The Patrick Henry Center for Individual Liberty.
bottom line Hillary sucks. The only upside to a Clinton presidency is the wild BBQ's that Bill would put on. Freed from all the stress and strain of running the free world, Billy could kick back, get high and raid the White House kitchen for midnite munchees.

THE HILLARY CLINTON STORY YOU SHOULD NEVER FORGET -- Children at the Hospital
American Spectator | March 1997
(Story originally appreared in the American Spectator, March 97)
It seems that Hillary, who's had her fingerprints found on all the new scandals that are breaking on a daily basis is trying to fix her public image.
So, to promote the new effort, showing how deeply Hillary cares about children, especially sick children in hospitals, Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington got a call. Hillary Clinton would be coming over soon with children's author Maurice Sendak. Hillary's advance team would be showing up arranging the security and logistics. The team did show up. What they saw horrified them.
The kids in the hospital children's ward really looked sick! Some of them had tubes sticking out. Some had lost their hair to chemotherapy. Some were groggy because of the pain killers they had to take.
Hospital officials were quickly told this would not do. Hillary would look bad in a newspaper photo if she posed with sickly looking children. They were told. "No children that look drowsy, skip bald kids, sick looking kids, or kids with tubes sticking out."
So here's what the hospital actually did. They outfitted a hospital conference room with toys and kids decorations. They ordered hospital staff members to bring in their healthy children who would pose as sick children in photos with the great St. Hillary.
So, on January 10th, Hillary Clinton showed up to Georgetown University Medical Center and read to a bunch of kids with author Maurice Sendak. Had you read the papers or heard the news the next day, you might have been bowled over by her compassion. Actually she demonstrated the opposite. You see the real sick kids, who were originally told they would be visited by the first lady were originally extremely happy and excited at the prospect of her visit.
When they were later told, they were too sick looking to be with the great Hillary, some became deeply depressed. After all how would anyone feel not being good enough for Ms. compassion herself.
Of course the press published the photos of Hillary reading to the cute kids the next day. They just forgot to tell you that Hillary, in the quest of the perfect photo could not bring herself to be photographed with an actual sick child.
The phony mask of compassion that Hillary hides behind has slipped once again. Just around Purim time too!
