Al, I hope you checked to see whether it was a hoax before posting an email chain letter here.

it could be b/s like bob said.

Then again...maybe not. I dont think target is french owned because during the war my inflamed hatred for the french forced me to do a little research and i came up with a HUGE list of french owned businesses here in the US and i never heard of target being french owned but i could be wrong. it smells fishy.
would they really outright reject the american vets and go out of their way to mention that they help gay grups? tat sounds like someone is mad at an old boss at target and is making up something that would really get people pissed: f the vets, love the gays ...i dunno

The link above will shed some light on the veracity of Target's view on veteran's groups. I served in the US Air Force for 21 years and wish the best to all servicembers and their families for the upcoming hiliday season.

That thing has been around a while, the gay and lesbo part should have tipped you off that it was not the real deal.

Target sucks....But it's not French owned (You may be thinking Food Lion)

Target is the is the charter store from the former Dayton Hudson cos.....Of which Mervyn's & Marshell Fields is also a part of..

I suggest you contact you constituency and have them boycott the entire run of those stores.

Of course....They maybe a company who's ideals are that of anti-war. That still doesn't justify an unwillingness to sponser a veterens memorial event.

    As a gay, socially-conscious, frenchman, I support Target's stance. ;)

Boy, that was a long way to go for a snicker!

I have no prob with Target. I have their CC and believe me...at x-mas time...Target totally helps the bottom line in my wallet. Target has good stuff and just to give them a plug...my wife and I made 2:30pm reservations to have our kids portraits taken at Sears...when we arrived there were 50 kids ahead of us....that is outrageous..then why even make reservations?

We went to target and made a reservation and we were seen at the reserved time....Somehow...Sears has lost its way...

    I like Target..

I hate Target, but for other reasons.

You guys need to relax. If that rumor is true then so what? Most companies and charaties have a policy on who and what they can give to. Otherwise a Target in a right-wing town could decide to give donations to the KKK or some crazy religious sect. The point is most companies have these policies.

Walter: Those rich f#$ks! This whole f#$king thing-- I did not watch my buddies die face down in the muck so that this ****ing strumpet--
Dude: I don't see any connection to Vietnam, Walter.
Walter: Well, there isn't a literal connection, Dude.
Dude: Walter, face it, there isn't any connection.
