Terrel Owens wearing green and white and #81?? Sounds good to me. He would thrive in NY.
Isn't JC #81 now?
I think Conway is. I have no problem sauing goodbye to him.

81 is Conway. So for all intents and purposes, its open ;)

    I think he's referring to Cole$.

Sorry, Cole$ is a nice wr but he's not in T.O.'s league, not even close.

Agree. And Coles wears #80 for the skins and was #87 with us.

I just like #81 as that was my number when I played for the Glasgow Uni Tigers. National Champs in 94 baby!!

I guess there's a CHANCE you could convince him to play for the vet minimum.

I mean, he could actually become a "star" with a QB like Pennington throwing to him....... ;)

if there was ever a scumbag detector, TO would show stronger blips than KJ

f TO it will never ever happen

Kj for the right pice? thats a different story

  11. #31
TO is the best fit for us. He may have a bad attitude but he will help us win. We need a big reciever to take over for the next 2-3 years, draft somebody on day one and breed him into the role of TO.

  12. #32
hey i admit that i will be delighted to get the a hole TO.

    It just isnt happening

  13. #33
While you're at it, sign Warren Sapp too

I'm sure he's take vet min to play along side the butcher........ :)

I think if the defense could hold the opposing teams to under 20 pts the Jets could win every game :) , that's a stretch but the offense next year would be one of the best in the league.

  15. #35
If we got TO, made the talked about changes on Defense ( cut the losers, abe to LB, draft CB#1,LB#2) we'd be playing NE in the playoffs next year, and whatever team wins ThAT game wins the Suberbowl.

T O wants 25 mil. I dont have that kinda dough man..I`ll have to pass as much as I would like to see him in green N White! I`ll take a rookie in this year`s draft and see what gives.

OK, While I have kinda been against EITHER KJ or TO being signed by the Jets....I did have an interesting though reading this thread........

TO, KJ, Moss and Chrebet as our 4 WR's, with Carter as the #5. Would that not be the best set or WR's in the NFL, right off, even if KJ and Chrebet may have lost a 1/2 step. That seems awful tempting, even if it only was to work out for a year or two. Could all those ego's survive on the same team????

    Well, daydream over.
