    What about the Great Blair Thomas' #32?

    Or the Great Johhny Mitchell's two #'s, #83 & #86? I mean, he was so great that he gave himself the nickname "7-11". His reasoning, "'cause I'm open 24hrs a day". Oh the fun we could have "retiring" the busts in JETS history! There wouldn't be any #'s left! Todays players would have to wear triple digit #'s!

    Jets policy is that they only retire players that make the HOF.

    ie: Namath, Maynard, Ewbank.

    No Shuler. Next shot we have at a retired number is Curtis.
