I think your point was made a bit obtusely, but then again my counterpoint was made just as obtusely, maybe moreso.
I think such complicated dealings are impractical in the NFL... However asking for another pick back or such would not have been so impractical.
After all, probably the only lesson a GM could really learn from Madden is that if a team will trade X for Y, usually they're willing to throw in a 5th or 6th round pick.
