even though I know Pride is much better than UFC, I will still get it to see what happens. Randy Coture already beat both of their behinds, but they should match up well together and will probably be a brawl.

The thing that suprised me is that Tito Ortiz beat Ken Shamrock and Chuck Liddel beat Vitor Belfort, so they have some credibility. Chuck Liddel was on Sportscenter yesterday promoting this fight, and they are hyping it up greatly. Like I said, it will be a good matchup and since I'm one of the biggest MMA supporters and fans, I will definatly watch this one tonight.

Get all your info there. But there are some BIG BOYS fighting tonight and when the Heavyweights fight, its always a brawl. Wes Sims, Cabbage (who beat Tank Abbots behind) and this HUGE guy KYLE is fighting. Yyves Edwards is also a great fighter. I promise at least 3 KO's tonight with the guys who are fighting...........like I said, the heavyweights they have paired to fight againsed each other are paired together for a reason....they are brawlers and we will see some KO's. CANT WAIT

That stuff's just too violent. I think it should be made illegal.

Vinny...I just got a new HD TV and digitial cable. One of the channels is called IN HD. They play a lot of the old UFC pay per views. I had never watched it before.

Man it is really cool. I think I like the new format better (they said it was more brutal back in the day). I won't be around to watch this tonight but I really liked what I had seen so far.

I watched one from last year where some fat guy Cabbage beat the hell out of some biker named Tank. They also had the Hall Of Fame introductions and covered a lot of the history.

I just saw this post after my earlier reply. Cabbage is going again...damn I wish I could check this out. I will have to wait for the rerun in a few months. Let me know who wins!

Ortiz is an animal. Best the UFC has to offer right now. Liddel is pretty good but I'm confident Ortiz will open a can on chucky's arse.

The fighters in Pride are definately better but the production quality the UFC puts on is miles ahead of Pride. Also, Pride should start using a cage. Too many stopages when they get tangled in the ropes.

Correction:....the best the UFC has to offer is not Tito or CHuck.......his name is Randy Coture and he is 41 years old. Remember 4 months ago when Randy Absolutley dominated Ortiz?....or 3 months prior to that when he Absolutley dominated Chuck as well?......I have the tape and Tito got beat so bad by Randy Coture (41, yes 41 years old) that he had tears running down his eyes after the fight..........Ortiz is the best the UFC has to offer when it comes to his Terrell Owens style and what he brings to his sport in the way of a "SHOW".

When I first started watching UFC, I'll admit it was a bit too much. Recently, I got to watch the last UFC fight that was on PPV and I was hooked. Its so much better now. I'm amped and ready to go tonight! I can't wait! BTW - Anyone know where I can find some old fights, since I'm pretty much a newcomer, I want to see fights of Tito and Chuck and what made them so great.

That is Wes Simms, he's not the best fighter, but he definatly has a screw loose, and I dont use that term loosely. There is something wrong with him mentally. He has been DQ'd from 2 fights that I know of, one of them was when he threw a guy out of the ring, the other was when he stomped a guys face when he was down repeatedly.

When he is in the ring, you will know what i'm talking about. He has this look about him like he isnt all there/crazy type. He is fighting this HUGE dude so, it should be fun. The guy he is fighting looks like he is about 6'6 and goes to the gym every single day.....you know what I mean.

The one on the left is "Cabbage". He tore the ledgendary Tank Abbott up. Dont let his physical stature fool you, he hits like a sledgehammer. His opponent to his right is another guy who hits like a ton........should be fun

I was just getting ready to start a poll when I saw this thread. I am pumped for the fight tonight. I'm pulling for Chuck all the way. Tito is a first rate biotch. I was looking forward to seeing Tim Sylvia fight but see he's not on the card now. Must still be serving his punishment for steroids. On Bob Sapp. I did like the guy but quickly learned he is just a big guy with absolutely no fighting skill. I thought that his size would help him get by but I think any decent heavyweight can beat him handily.

Tim Sylvia was stripped of his title for testing positive on roids after one of his fights. He served his suspension of 4 months and then Yesterday morning, they tested him again, and again he tested positive. So now this Morning, they had to shuffle everything around. What a moron.

Sapp is no joke, he beat some top K-1 fighters and also is 2-1 in Pride

He tested positive again? My god what an idiot. I'll just have to disagree with you on Sapp. He beat a couple scrubs then when he fought Nogueira he was exposed. The only two fights I watched on K1 he lost. One he got KOed and got a fractured orbital for his troubles. The next one he just flat out quit.
