The O-line has two GLARING holes at both guard positions. We cannot go into training camp with the current line-up. We won't have Penny around for too long if this weakness is ignored or filled by journeymen. I know there are many areas of need on the roster, but if we don't solidify the line we won't see the post season. CB & S are other areas of concern, followed by LB depth and clock management. ;)

gotta go with Jetman here... all the DB spots can be upgraded but CB is a bigger need... and the OL needs depth and a starting guard

CB is a concern, though no one knows honestly what D Barrett's capabilities are. If they tell you otherwise thy are most likely lying. IMO the O-Line and safety are a mojor concern. Tongue is cheaper and IMO better than Lynch at this point of his career, but McGraw has proved only that he is nearly as fragile as glass. I would love to get a little insurance at the position. If not Sean Taylor via a tradeup, then maybe shoot for a mid to late 2nd rounder and try to get Jones or Schweigert. We also desperately need a guard. I am quietly praying they find a way to draft Carey but would be content with a player the likes of Snee.

Secondary and O-line. I am surprised how little attention has been paid to the o-line this offseason. If you can't block, you can't do much.

agreed. the o line hasnt been tweeked up much by the powers that be, but overall, their most desperate need as a UNIT was the lb corps which have been beefed up considerably

defensive line has gotta be #3

we have good starters at both WR and LB

Ferguson is a ? because of his ability, or lack thereof, to stop the run as a NT should

We have to significantly upgrade the DB & O-Line.

But with only the draft left to rectify the situation or the off chance we find an affordable veteran after June 1st, with no second round pick, we have no choice but to concentrate on one area.

Which one should it be ?

D-backfield, O-line, and depth at D-line and depending on if we trade LaMont and/or Becht....RB and TE.

Also, I don't think you can have too many good LB's....mid to later rounds guys like Rod Davis and Roderick Royal would be nice picks.

Vote for her on the link, I went to college with her. She played on the softball team and dated a friend of mine who played on the baseball team. Trust me she did not look like that in college, can you say implants!

the JETS don't need 2 guards - Brandon Moore was kicking ass last year... they could use 1 guard.

also RE: D backs i think David Barrett people are REALLY underratting - he's a sleeper with all the tools, the last unknown guy to be signed out of AZ turned out to be Pro Bowler Corey Chavous.

the BIGGEST need is a REAL Left Tackle to protect Chad's blind side. Between KMac and Fabini the team has 2 right tackles.
