where in that article do you show me that he is a better overall player than Mike or Roy?
RECENT MOCK DRAFTS:
PRO FOOTBALL WEEKLY -
#11 - Robinson
#13 - R. Williams
#16 - M.Williams
#10 - Robinson
#12 - M.Williams
#16 - R. Williams
#8 - M.Williams
#12 - Robinson
#15 - R. Williams
Robinson is rated ahead of R. Williams in all 3 and ahead of M. Williams in 2 of the 3.
You cannot use suppositions to support assertions....lol!
Mike and Roy, I will bet anybody, are gone in the top ten.
"R.Williams was "Reggie" There is absolutely no reason to talk about Roy and the Jets as he'll be gone by 5.
With the unpleasant demise of J.Henderson (Damn, I liked that guy...) our PRIORITIES May HAVE changed!
I think my second plan (reposted here w/ minor modification) is most likely the way to go. Trade down, get a 2nd, and get a CB and a LB in Rounds 1 and 2. Leaving a Mike Williams WILL be VERY hard...but perhaps it IS the right way to go (I am undecided now..):
The Warfish Plan:
Round #1 (#12) Trade down to #25-30 for a 2nd Rounder. Give away our own (tradeable) 7th if that is required (I will assume it is here)
Round #1 (~#25) Best Available Defensive Player: Perhaps Dunta/Hall/Gamble if any of them fall or Ware (UCLA CB) if they don't....or Vilma/DJ Williams if THEY fall or P.Boulware (if they don't fall).
Round #2 (#??) Best available CB or LB (depending on 1st Rounder, and hopefuly Boulware LB when we take a CB in Round #1)
Round #3 Best Available O-Guard/Safety
Round #4 Best Available Safety/O-Guard (opposite Round #3)
Round #4 Best Available WR
Round #5 Best Available O-Line/CB
Round #6 Best Available CB/O-Line (opposite Round #5)
Round #7 (sup) BAP (TE)
Round #7 (sup) BAP (RB)
Round #7 (sup) BAP (O-Line)
As I said, a draft of:
Round #1 Ware, CB, UCLA
Round #2 Boulware, LB, Florida State
Round #3 Snee, OG, Bostom College
Would be a heck of a good draft at filling our holes IMO.
