Democrats could be participating in a "mini-Watergate" effort to get Ralph Nader out of the presidential picture, the consumer advocate charged Thursday.

"They're hiring lawyers to go up to technicalities in places like Arizona, they infiltrated our political convention," Nader, an independent candidate for president, told FOX News on Thursday. "I spoke to John Kerry and said 'you'd better look into it because it could be a mini-Watergate, possibly."

Nader said he hasn't yet heard back from the Democratic senator from Massachusetts, who is hoping to oust President Bush from the White House in the November elections.

"This is pretty serious, when you try to lock the civil liberties of American just to get on the ballot so people can vote for the candidate of their choice," Nader continued.

Are you really saying that Gore would have handled 911 better and squashed Al-Qeeda? You really need to check yourself into a rehab center for that drug problem.

Had Gore won in 2000 I don't believe we would be in Iraq today.

Had Gore won in 2000 the Republicans would have excoriated Clinton for not having OBL wacked in the 90s. They would started doing this on 9/12/01.

Too bad Gore didn't win.

Hey, didn't some Democratic Senators see the light and vote AGAINST the war in Iraq? What happened to Kerry? He voted FOR it! As did Edwards. I thought Kerry was a Viet Nam veteran. Didn't Kerry learn anything about war while in Nam?

I didn't call anybody a Parrot... just suggesting a new mascot. Guess if the shoe fits though... unless you prefer the Dems jackass mascot, either way... it's appropriate.

There would be no need. Women would be wearing burkahs and everyone would be radical muslims.

And you and all the other socialists wouldn't believe Hussein had and was seeking WMD's until they exploded in New York.

On the issue of voting, I have a few questions for everyone:

1). How many people in the US are over the age of 18 and are eligible to vote?
2). How many of these people are registered voters?
3). How many eligible voters actually cast a ballot in the last presidential election?

Just throwing the questions out there. Lots of people piss and moan about the government, but never get off their asses to vote. That annoys me.

All I know is when there are state elections around here it is a miracle when 30% of registered voters actually 'take the time' to cast a ballot.

In Australia you have to vote under law (which is wrong IMHO) but you don't have to declare that you are Republican, Democrat or Independant and elections are always held on Saturdays, giving people a much better chance of casting a vote

Just one more reason to vote for Bush. Liberals consider him a failure.

Why do some of the mods here constantly engage in making personal attacks?

BTW...compared to the dismal failure of George W. Bush's presidency, its difficult to imagine how Gore could've done any worse.[/b][/quote]
Were Gore President he would still be awaiting UN approval to bomb Afgahnistan, then would've needed the go-head from enviromentalists to make sure the exhaust from American fighter jets did not pollute the atmosphere to badly, of course his wife would've cenusred our soldiers from all foul language.

Then national elections would have to take place in places like Pakiststan and Uzbekistan to make sure it was okay with those people that American jets could pass through their air space.

Of course UN inspectors would be sent in as a last resort to try and weed out the bad taliban from the good.......only then would gore give the okay to defend America.
