Have there been any reliable reports of the player stats for Madden '05? (or for NFL2k5 for that matter?" last year they got out early IIRC, and they were fun to look at.

The only confirmed reports I have heard is that every single Jets player will be ranked in the low 50's overall. The team ranking will be the lowest in team history. :P

Usually around two weeks before the release date (8/10) some website owners get their hands on some early copies and will start posting them on Madden message boards. Until then however any reports are usually just made up or speculation, like when you see reports that teams have overall ratings of 97 when only two teams were in the 90's last year.

Well that's obviously a mistake. Corey Dillon is the best running back in the game. Everyone knows he should be a 99 overall.

Wow, Ty Law only a 91? That seems kind of strange.

    Thanks Troll. Seymour got hosed.

btw, just as I was pondering trying to move Glavine, someone in my fantasy league offered me Clement for Glav.

Took me all of 2 seconds to accept.

Is Clement's year for real, or should I try to move him again? Same question for Prior, only if his middling year thus far is for real, in his case I do move him.

Clement started out hot this season, but his record now stands at 7-8. He's getting virtually no run support, but I would keep him if he was on my team. The Cubs bats will wake up once we get everyone off the DL and Kerry Wood is starting tonight, which should lift up their spirits as well.

During August and September, Prior was as unhittable as anyone this side of Orel Herrshiser. I have Prior on my team and he's been struggling, but after seeing what he did last year, no way in hell I trade him during the stretch run.

u actually think dillion is a better running back then lets compare stats
curtis martin 9 seasons- 11669 rushing yds
corey dillion- 7 seasons 8061 rushing yds

dont be still holding a grudge because u gave up the 11 th all time rushing leader in the nfl. curtis had over 1300 yds last season when was the last time a patriot running back had that many?

Cowart is always rated in the high 80's for some reason, looks like someone isn't really scouting the Jets correctly. But Ellis and Abraham in the 80's, I would think at least one of them would be in the 90's  . I think I'll be happy sticking with Madden this year, although I won't lie......I must rent ESPN when it comes out just to be sure.

f- espn madden is better . madden ellis should be a 90's online verison he was a 92 and abe should be late 80's or early 90's since he was injured. who cares about the ratings we know those two are both amazing and some of the nfls best defense ends

Do you watch football or only play video games?

Yeah, it has been all of one season since he had 1000 and that year he outrushed CuMar. Yeah, I hope he sucks that bad next year.

By far the dumbest move the Pats made in the last ten years.
