How whack is this? Roger Clemens take the mound in Houston today and can clinch a playoff spot for the Astros. He faces the mighty powerhouse of the Colorado Rockies  This is the biggest lock in pro sports today. Take Clemens, take the Astros on the runline (-1.5 runs). No way he loses today.

And if you are feeling extra saucey, you could parlay it with the Anaheim Angels who, despite treating the A's like their *****, are UNDERDOGS today! But the best play today is the Astros -1.5 runs with Clemens taking the mound today.

    lets go Roger B)

I love ptuting Barry Bonds in the same class as Dan Marino, Pedro Martinez, Karl Malone, Charles Barkley and Ted Williams, and although the Giants obviously wont win the WS this year, I don't wanna take any chances

I would say that if he wins, he gets his #7 Cy Young, and returns for 2005. In Houston only, of course, as no other team will give him those special privledges for road games.

But, he has had a super season.

Clemens scratched with a stomach virus. He would be available tommorrow if the Giants win and the Astors lose. Figure the Dodgers would love to end the Jints' season and the Rockies couldn't care less. Possibly a calculated risk to have Clemens ready for the 1-game playoff or for game 1.
