The Jets injury problems at center continue.
Starting center Kevin Mawae is still nursing a broken bone in his right hand, and now his backup, and starting left guard Pete Kendall, is battling a right wrist injury.Kendall is listed as probable on the injury report, but Jets coach Herman Edwards said last week that means there is a 50 percent chance a player will play.If Kendall can't play, Jonathan Goodwin would likely replace him at left guard.
Also added to the injury report on Thursday was nickel back Derrick Strait , who hurt his foot in practice. He went for an MRI on Thursday, and he has to considered doubtful at this point for Sunday's game against Buffalo. He would be replaced by veteran Terrell Buckley.

2 guys that need to play sunday
bet Kendall plays. Give him a club to match Mawae's and it could start a whole new trend for defenses everywhere.

thats huge...itll be big to see how the team responds to this...first real adversity...
We need these 2 to play but that doesnt neccessarily mean we need them to win...The great teams like the Pats(I JUST CRAPPED MYSELF), just fill in and dont miss a beat..I agree it will be interesting to see how they respond..

Guys...relax. Our OG is probable. And as for Strait, I like what I see but he has essentially been our dime back. I think the Jets can survive this news.
Ofcourse we will survive and prob. still win but it not something we wanted to hear..
