Thread: Co-MVPs of the ALCS?

  1. #1
Whatever happens I think Matsui and Ortiz should be co-mVPs of the ALCS.

Matsui has just been unconscious, and unbelievable. He's been easilly the Yankees best player.

Ortiz has also been hitting extremely well and had two walk off hits IN THE SAME DAY...

To give one the MVP but not the other would be wrong imo..... whatever happens from here on out, I think they should be co-MVPs of the series.

Dude I made this joke in another thread (about Ortiz getting it even if the Sox lose). But it is premature. If Leiber pitches another gem and the Yankees win, he gets it.

Regardless no member of the losing team deserves any part of the MVP award.

    Very true.

We could have lost without him.

There has been Co-MVPs only once 1990 Dibble/Myers for the Reds.

The losing player has been the MVP of th LCS 3 times.
    Jeffory Leonard-Giants 87
    Mike Scott-Astros-86
    Fred Lynn-Angels-82
