I think these Sox are actually very similar to the Jets.

...often the underdog....a championship about a zillion years ago....many years of "close but no cigar".

    ...I'm kinda hoping they win.

I'll say it's insulting comparing the Sox to my Jets! Please don't do that again dammit! :[img]http://www.jetsinsider.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif' /> :[img]http://www.jetsinsider.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif' /> I hate any and everything from Boston/NE whatsoever! That being said Go Yanks!! Go Jets!!

IN all fairness to the Sox, they have made it back to the WS since their victories (an other small difference).

I'm kinda pulling for the Sox too. I was a huge Yankee fan from the time I started following the sport until 1997. But now I don't really have a favorite team. Although this may all be a mute point since I think either National league team should beat either American League team.

You're not alone - I'm pulling for the Sox tonight, partly out of my dislike for the Yanks, but also for how well I can relate to their fans - they seem like they'd fit right in to my whole loser's club of the Jets/Mets/Rangers/Knicks...

I'm actually pulling for the Sox tonight, but not because I hate the Yankees. I want to see the Sox and Astros in the Series. Just so Clemens can stick it to them again.

Lets go Sox. Not all jets fans like the yankees, as you can see, quite a few of us hate them immensely. Its actually more common to be a Jets and Mets fan, since they used to play at the same stadium. Giants/Yankees is the more common alliance. By being a Mets fan, we hate the Yankees only second to you guys. At least you have never lost a world series to those a-holes. I walked out of shea stadium backwards in 2000 so as not to see the skankees celebrate at shea. I really like this sox team too, they remind me of the 86 mets, minus the coke.

I've been a JETS fan and a SOX fan all my life so that makes me twice cursed!!!!

2004 the year the JETS and SOX win titles...
    Then the world ends.

I hate the Yankees so much. Everytime I see a Jets fan on this board posting about how much they love the Yankees it makes me sick. I immediatley loose all respect for them.

I'm sure I turn a lot of people off by my politics and cause the same sort of admonishment.

Just as I'm for Anybody But Bush, I'm also for Anyone But the Yankees.
