What will happen first?

Allan Houston will decide that his knee is healthy?

    -or-

Ted Williams will be defrosted and bat .340 for the Red Sox again?

What an absolute disgrace that biatch is.

Compare Allan Houston's rehabilitation schedule compared to Alonzo Mourning who had a kidney transplant last December ansd played in his first game last night.
Houston is not going to play until he is absolutely ready and even a couple of weeks after that-do not quote me on that- soft!

We have a similar situation here in the office. Someone, age 58, underwent a quadruple bypass 2 months ago. He was back here on a part time basis in 5 weeks, and this week, week #8, he returned full time. He looks guant, and a bit pale, but he is back at full speed.

Another person, age 27, underwent an operation on the middle toe of the right foot, to relieve a "shooting pain" that has been there for several months. The operation was done 10 weeks ago, and the individual in question has still not returned to work.

And there is no indication when this person will return.

I ask you - which one is like Alonzo, and which one is like Houston?

    Enough said. :[img]http://www.jetsinsider.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif' />

Please just shut up. Calling Allan Houston a biatch just shows how ignorant you are.

    - Allan never fully recovered from knee surgery he had last offseason and he rushed back to play last season, which was not the smart thing to do.

    - For a player that relies on his knees, more than anyone, since he is primarily a jumpshooter, Allan won't be able to perform at a high level unless his knees are fully healed.

    - Why do we need to rush H20 back if hes not healthy? This is the reason we got Crawford, not only for the future but for insurance for Allan.

So for you *******s that are calling Allan soft, and a p***y, and a biatch, you all need to grow up.

Why rush him back? Because he can play. He has never been ''rushed'', he's just got no balls and no will to win. Playing through injuries is nothing new. Does Houston think he's good enough to wait all this time and assume his starting spot is sitting there for him?

He should have had the 2nd surgery, he'd be healthy now

He's never going to be a 80 games/30 mpg guy again.

    Damn shame

Agree 100% on the bit about the 2nd surgery. He would be ready today if he had it. But he put himself before the team here. If the surgery would help, he should have gone for it.

Big shocker- Houston on the injury list- out for at least for first 5 games of the season. Alonzo Mourning coming off kidney transplant in Dec last year on active roster for the Nets.
