I'm just curious why are there so many new faces in this section of the forum?

I suspected their would be an influx of conservatives to gloat for a few days. But there are also some new liberals as well.

Whats the deal? Are you guys here to stay?

BTW I already miss Warfish.

I've been reading this forum for a few days to catch everyone's thoughts... but have been hesitant to express my thoughts because I feel like this forum is nothing but a shouting match except for a few individuals who can eloquently express some very interesting viewpoints.

For the record, I am a Democrat, and voted for Kerry.

For those that have been doing the shouting, and probably will bash me for my vote  , I believe that Democrat does not necessarily equal Liberal & Republican doesn't equal Conservative.

All right, scream away!

I'll probably steer clear of this forum when I've been drinking, but other than that, I see no problem with setting you conservative bastards straight. :D

Where were you guys before the election? We were getting our asses handed to us, not based on substance but based on volume.

I dropped in occasionally to bash Bush, but I don't do the mudslinging thing. All it does is piss me off because so few people will listen to logic. Such as with the whole SBVFT thing. At least Kerry was IN Vietnam fighting for his country and not off hiding in Texas snorting coke.

Could not have said it better...there are some good democrats out there (Evan Bygh for one) and some crappy neo-cons (Trent Lott, Newt Gingrich).

I don't mind democrats...I despise most liberals.

I was a Vet during that Time..I don't know if you were even born then
but Kerry was not the Hero you seem to think he was..Have you ever
known any GI that goes to War with a Color Camera in the 60's?? And
got 3 Purple Hearts in 4 months?? I was in 4 years and never heard of
that! Kerry played the system..But what I found dispicable is what he did
when he returned..Bad Mouthing his fellow servicemen and meeting with
the enemy in France while still a US reserve Officer..Want to know why
he wasn't granted a Honorable discharge till 1995?? It's all in his records
that he wouldn't release!! Liberals are Funny..What Clinton did in his private
life as President shouldn't be questioned..But what Bush did and admitted
when he wasn't holding any office should be held against him 35 years latter! Most of you Guys read about the 60's in History books..Men like my friend the
Hermanator(Board name) don't post here anymore did his Time in Nam..And
he just got sick of the young know-it-alls that don't have a clue about those
times and would never serve their Country if it needed them.. <_<

I'd like more of an explanation on how some Vietnam Vets feel positive about that war. Not all did. Fighting in Vietnam was serving this country or the Vietnamese? (well fighting communism) I am asking honestly, I want to understand your viewpoint. Yes, I was around during those times-- I remember the protesting, the draft, the whole atmosphere....so many young kids killed.

Were you at the Airport spitting at Military men?? This Country was founded
on young men getting Killed..The property your living on probley belonged
to a Indian tribe! Want to give it back! Here's a simple view point..If we are
playing the Bills Sunday and one of the Jets is helping the Bills to beat us..
Is he a good Jet in your Opinion?? Maybe he feels that the NFL should be
equal and the Bills could use a win to make them feel better..After all we
have wins to spare..Is it so wrong to help the other side?? You bet your
sweet Tush it is..And many of us don't forget or forgive!! <_< Look many
Liberals have a European view of the world..Many like Warfish don't like to
see the US strong or Dominant..Many of you think the world hates us??What
a joke! They can't wait to get in this Country! It's the "Elite" that hates the US!
Or the Terrorists or any Group that hates Freedom..We have American Blood
and Graves all over the World fighting for another Countries freedom! And all
we ever asked was a place to bury our Fallen Comrades..Any Vet Hates War..
But if you think the Evil people in the world love your point of view..Go talk to
them..I'm sure they will love you to Pieces..Literally!!

I haven't listened to Stern in about 2 months since he started bashing Bush. But I tuned stretch in the day after, and he was trying to distance himself from "liberalism", big time.

Fck him.

I don't know but this quote clears everything up for anyone who has any questions:
Here's a simple view point..If we are playing the Bills Sunday and one of the Jets is helping the Bills to beat us..Is he a good Jet in your Opinion?? Maybe he feels that the NFL should be equal and the Bills could use a win to make them feel better..After all we have wins to spare..Is it so wrong to help the other side??
That comparison sums it up beautifully...thanks for your service Savage and make sure you tell Hermanator I said hello and am still waiting to hear about the rally back on 9-12!!
