    Fire Torre Now!!!!!!

Why The Hell Didn't He Bunt???? Why Not Pinch Hit Womack For Cano And Bunt????? What A Horrible Decision. Why Not Pitch Mariano In 8th??????? This Game Was Huge!!!!! Biggest Loss Of The Year Imo We Had A Shot To Close In On The Red Sox, And Torre Blew It!!!!!

So Many Goats In This Game

    1. Torre- For Obvious Reasons
    2. Melky Cabrera- Trade His *** Right Now Or At Least Send Him Back Down I Don't Want To See His *** On The Field Ever Again
    3. Arod- Trade This Curse He Swings At First Goddam Pitch And Grounds Out
    4. Posada- Hasnt Gotten A Hit In A Year
    5. May- This Guy Sucks

What A Horrible Season Ending Loss!!!! They Come Back And Torre Falls Asleep. Bring Back Zimmer!! Fire Torre!!!!

There's any number of things you can blame Torre for(not bringing in Mo in the 9th?), But this isn't one of'em. Cano did try to bunt at first, but it didn't work; after strike 1,they hit and run, and but for Cano fouling it off it would've worked. You cannot bunt with 2 strikes because if it goes foul you're out. Did you miss little league rules or something? They got lousy pitching and came up 1 hit short.

May does suck, which kinda makes the point that if they had any pitchng at all they'd have likely won.

Your'e also right about Posada. This guy has the softest most worthless ABs in all of MLB. He's awful defensively. If he wasn't Jeter's best friend he'd be in KC or Tampa.

The Orioles obliberated the Red Sox so that game doesn't matter.
We lost to the Indians, but it wasn't as bad as last year. 21-0

I would have made him bunt anyway...At that situation a strike out is not the worst outcome with no outs and the heart of the order coming up.

To pinch hit with Womack would have been the stupidest move of the year. Cano is so much better at anything with the bat compared to womack, who also can't bunt. Cano swinging away is not the dumbest move, as this guy has gotten several key hits in big situations since his May callup.

And to banish a guy for struggling in his first game in the daylight in Yankee Stadium is a move that smacks of Steinbrenner from the 1980's. How well did those teams do?
