Charity Wagers

This thread is to be used to track wagers made by adult board members where the proceeds go to charitable organizations. Please send me a private message if you need something added.

Bergen and Savage - Most Yards on the season and most YPCs. $50 each wager going to the Marty Lyons Foundation or the Pat Tilman fund.

    Bergen and Asshat - Bergen's Charity - The V Foundation Shasta's - TBD
Shasta, 100 bucks right now, winner picks the charity. I say the Jets will have a better record this year than the Patsies. If they tie we each toss 50 to the others charity. What do you say?

Done.
What a wonderful idea Bergen, I absolutely love it. I don't bet much but I'd love to get like a WR pool going like we did a couple of years back at training camp.

We bet a bottle of choice as to who got what spot. I had the dark horse and was laughed at because I said Kevin Swayne would make the roster. Guess what, I still have a bottle left of Moet Chandon White Star in my fridge to remind of that little victory. ;)

We could try that again and this season only this time for cash with the winnings going to charity.

Here's the playing field as it stands now. We have the "Four C's" - Chrebet ~ Coles ~ Cotchery ~ Carter along with McCareins as the front runners. Then we have dark horse entries Chas Gessner, Brock Ralph, Carl Kearney, Terrence Stubbs, Jovan Witherspoon, Eddie Jackson & Harry Williams.

Let me know and I'll take a shot at it with anyone else who wants to bet who will get the coveted top WR spots and in what order. :D

Anyone want to bet on CMartin versus either Lamont or Dillon? Maybe rushing yards or something similar? $25 range if you're interested.

How about the same bet as last year?

The Jets get smoked in their season opener (I have to believe KC gives me a better shot than Cincy did last year  )

    Jetgirl, Jumba.....$25.00 apiece again?

(I'm not sure what was so BOLD about predicting you'd lose to the Bengals in the opener last year Jumba....the Jets only won by 7)

If any Pats fans want to bet on the opening game, I'll bet $25 straight-up on the Raiduhs to win.

    Which piece?

Hopefully not the teeny little one you showed Garb ...... :D

OK, you're in for $25.00 along with Jetgirl and Jumba

Jets get smoked in game one by KC (and they will) you all donate to JI in my name.

The Jets win,...and I'm donating $25.00 apiece in all your names.

I've already got a $100 bet on this board with some fool named greenbacker (I still swear he's 15 year old EricBarton50 using an alias)

I'm very confident that the Pats will sweep again....but I'm not foolish enough to keep giving everyone the obvious "2-1" odds involved in that bet.

You're still welcomed to get in on the other one I listed with Jumba and Jetgirl if you want...... :)

Yes, I know the amount isn't that great, but it's the principle. What say we bet something else and you keep the wager w/ jg? If either team sweeps the other, the fan of the losing team donates $50(or a different amount). No sweep = a wash.
