    Yankees vs. Angels Predictions

    Hey guys,
I got tickets for games 2 and 3 of the series this week. Will the Angels sweep or just win 3 of 4?

Randy vs. Colon should be a good one. The Leiter vs Lackley match is interesting also. I think we take 3 of 4.

We should take 3/4. I hate the Angels though. Every time we play them Joe starts playing super small ball. It's infuriating.

Ummm i was mocking you Yankee fans who just a few short weeks ago were saying this, especially Jack the ripper. They are a good team, eventually they were gonna come around. But their pitching still sucks except for Mariano, its hard to hate these guys though as much as i want to. i like Jeter, Arod, and torre. Im even glad Giambino is playing better, he's not a bad guy, even is they will be swept this weekend!!

Yanks will come back. Angels were fortunate last night, and aided a tiny bit with that bogus strike call on Giambi in the 9th on the 3-1 pitch, which was so obviously ball4. 1st and 3rd, 1 out, is a different story then just man on 3rd, 2 outs.

Vladdy hit on that was at the knees. Over the plate, but quite low. Hats off to you guys, but there are still 3 more to go.

You were lucky that the Angels won by a grand slam. That game was a fluke.

The Yankees very well may get swept in this series. Their pitching is atrotious, and they obviously don't know how to win. They should watch tapes of the Boston Red Sox. Those guys know how to win a baseball game. They are resiliant, tough, and clutch. The Yankees have 0 of those qualities going for them.

Face it; The Boston Red Sox are UNBEATABLE. Sure we won the last series, but that was a fluke. No way the Boston Red Sox ever lose another game to the Yankees or a playoff game to anyone.

JVilma51.....the Yanks need pitching, not that is a suprise to anyone but man...i hadnt watched many Yankee games this year until this series and gees! Their lineup is great, almost every hitter is dangerous and with Giambino back they are scary. But their pitching is horrible. I dont know how but they need to deal some everyday player for some pitching. Thats why i like my teams chances, we have a good starting 5 and hopefully Escobar comes back for the stretch, and our bully is one of the best, if not the best right now. The lineup isnt really scary besides Vlad and Anderson, but they play great small ball, get em on, get em over, get em home. Scioscia is a great manager for this team, he manages them like an NL team which they are built like, good pitching, good defense, and run production. But the A's man...whats up with them? the best record in baseball the last 60 games? How???? That freakin Moneyball crap must really work, imagine if their ownership actually had some $$$ to keep the team together. imagine if they still had Tejada and Giambi. Well Yankee fans you have one last chance to get a win!!!! good luck!!!! and see you in NY next week.

Well, it was a crap series. We really should have won the first game and split but it is what it is. Only a game back in the loss column as of right now. That's fine.

Hey, they won 3 of 4, fair and square.

Truth be told, the Yanks have only themselves to blame for losing game 1. And they had many chances to win on Friday. Saturday was a loss as soon as they started the warmups. Brown should be on the PUP list. I don't care if that list is only in Football, he belongs there. I hope this specialist he's seeing finds something wrong, and determines that he should be disabled for a few months. Just make him go away.

It's a horrible feeling knowing your team has no chance whenever they roll out Kevin Brown.
