When asked today if CB Donnie Abraham's injured shoulder may require surgery, Coach Edwards’ response wasn’t very encouraging “Maybe. That's an option probably, yeah” said Edwards. Edwards told the media that Abraham underwent a MRI and CAT Scan on the injury and that results would not be available until Monday night or Tuesday.

Abraham was injured on Jay Fiedler’s TD run. The tape shows Fiedler’s helmet making direct contact with Abraham’s shoulder. If surgery is required then it’s likely the CB will miss a month or more. A platoon of Ray Mickens and Jamie Henderson will replace Abraham while he’s gone. The team may also add another QB to the roster. CB Andrew Davison who was released during final training camp cuts is a possibility.

LB’s Khary Campbell (ankle) and Jason Glenn (ankle) should both be ready to play on Sunday.
