Pennington off injury list

October 15th, 2003
The Jets updated injury list was just announced for the week and a very conspicuous name was missing. Also, Jets shuffle roster. With the secondary reeling from injuries the Jets today signed two defensive backs and waived two players to make room. One player waived, a two year veteran on the defensive line. The Jets updated injury list was just announced for the week and a very conspicuous name was missing.

Chad Pennington's name was absent from the injury list for the first time since August 23 when he fractured his hand against the Giants in Pre-season. Pennington will be in uniform this week and be listed as the third QB behind Vinny Testaverde and Brooks Bollinger. Unless a disaster occurs, Pennington will not play this week. However, it looks like his chances of being the starter next week in Philadelphia are a lot better.

Looks like the Jets won't get the chance to play against their old friend Aaron Glenn this week. The Pro Bowl CB and long time former Jet has a strained groin and is listed as doubtful this week.
