Jets offensive assistant Jimmy Raye has left the team to join new Raiders' Coach Norv Turner as the teamís offensive coordinator and assistant head coach.

Raye, who has worked under Herm Edwards as a senior offensive assistant for the past two seasons will reportedly become one of the highest paid offensive coordinators in the league by joining Turner's staff. The Raiders will be the 10th NFL franchise Raye has worked for during his long career as a coach.

Raye is the second offensive coach that the Jets have lost this off-season. Two weeks ago, wide receiver coach Mike Canales resigned to become the offensive coordinator for the University of Arizona. No replacement has been named yet.
