The Jets announced they are sending ten developmental players to NFL Europe for some grooming. On Sunday the NFLE free agent draft was held and the players were sent to various teams. The NFLE season starts on April 3rd. The Jets announced they are sending ten developmental players to NFL Europe for some grooming. Here are the Jets players allocated and where they will be playing this spring:

DT Alonzo Shuler (Amsterdam Admirals), OT Lance Nimmo (Cologne Centurions), RB/KR Chad Brinker (Cologne Centurions), WR Donovan Morgan (Frankfurt Galaxy), LB Wes Bautovich (Rhein Fire), WR Rob Milanese (Rhein Fire), DT Alan Harper (Scottish Claymores), RB/KR Ian Smart (Scottish Claymores) LB Ryan Myers (Scottish Claymores).

Wes Bautovich who previously had played safety for the Jets will be tried at LB during his time in Europe. The 62 226LB Bautovich has been working to bulk up a bit for the switch.

Jets Punters Mark Mariscal and Dallas Neil have also been allocated to Europe but will not be assigned to teams until the NFLE kicking camp in Tampa later this month.

NFLE training camp in begins in Tampa the last week of February, and each team will carry a final roster of 47 players. The season runs 10 weeks and ends with World Bowl XII on Saturday, June 12 in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
